The house is cute and has everything you need. The braai area may need a bit of shelter as it is open to the wind and weather and one cannot use the kitchen fire place to braai. Maybe warn the people that there is no cell phone reception.

The place was freezing cold when we got there and there was no way to heat it as the built in fire place is too small. There is only one LED bulb in each room powered by a small solar panel and therefore no electric heating.
Definitely overpriced at R1800 per night. Paint and ceilings look old. Awful bathroom. Uncomfortable lounge.
It was a lovely stay. We just couldn't plan our day ahead as there is no signal. We had to drive to the no electricity sign, but we didn't even miss it. There are enough lights and a fridge and oven.
Off the grid location. Was fantastic that I could switch of the phone and relax. The wood-fired Jacuzzi was awesome. My dogs loved the river and hikes.
The place, the whole farm, was amazing. The views from every window in the house can be made postcards of. We definitely got more than we bargained for. Thank you Armand.

8 of us stayed at Spot on cottage over New years during the Covid pandemic and we were all so impressed with how clean the house was. Soon after we arrived a gentleman who works on the farm asked if he could come sanitise the house again quickly. They cottage is cozy, tastefully decorated and has everything you need. Added bonus, free wood and a KolKol!

The view is very nice. It was a fantastic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city - very nice to just switch off. Well-equipped cottages with beautiful mountain views. It is a wonderful place, view of the mountains is beautiful, and listening to nature was very nice.
Exquisite accommodation. Friendly service. Beautiful mountains. With a hearth inside and a covered braai - and another hot 'bath' outside. Walking and cycling. What more can one ask for? It's one place where the photos on the website match the reality! We will go again!
We had a great rest and the fact that my cell phone could not bother me was a bonus. We stayed in Isak's Place and it was perfect. Very neat and clean, the braai wood was a bonus. Was a little jealous of the other guests who had a hot tub in their units. Will definitely stay there again. PS: The dachshund also thoroughly enjoyed it, could run around and sniff as he pleased.
Spending the night on the farm has always been a dream. We only tried one night and will definitely be back again to have a few days of tranquility.
It snowed on the mountains the evening we stayed over, but the nice warm fireplace warmed everything up. A lot of firewood were available.
