We had a wonderful family visit at Spoorsnyertjie and so enjoyed being able to appreciate every day on the stoep all the animals (big and small) that walked past and even came to drink water just outside at the water hole on the other side of the fence of the house. Even the conversation of variety of birds is any ornithologist's "treat". The house is large and very tidy to easily accommodate 6 people with an open plan kitchen and living area. Could have a nice barbecue in the back garden and "splash pool" to cool off on those hot days. Oh yes, don't forget! The owner of Spoorsnyertjie keeps you informed of any animals along the Marloth fence along the river. There was even a leopard to be seen during the time we were there. In the mornings and late afternoons, it was wonderful to take a leisurely walk at sunrise or sunset (not too far from Spoorsnyertjie) to walk along the fence along the river or just relax at one of the many benches to take in the wildlife in silence.

The house is very neat and everything is in good condition. Thanks to the solar system, we didn't know about load shedding. The silence and animals (unfortunately we didn't see Peanut) is a wonderful experience. Would go back again anytime - unfortunately we had to check out early.

The house is privately located, and many animals and birds visited us. The owner also kept us informed of wildlife from Kruger that could be seen in the Crocodile River at the border line. It was also a pleasure to experience no power outages for a week thanks to the solar system.

The house is nicely equipped with everything you need. Got many animal visitors and especially enjoyed the giraffes, not just one but three and even eight on a visit. The house is also very conveniently located near the river and was a nice walk.

The upgrade done at Spoorsnyertjie is very beautiful and practical, the new worktop in the kitchen is beautiful. You hear the river in the evening and early morning and late afternoon you have to stand up to feed all the visitors. Spoorsnyertjie is a comfortable house, with everything you might need. The bed sleeps great. The animals that come up to you and the kudus that come to eat from your hand is an experience. The river is within walking distance of Spoorsnyertjie. The owner was very helpful and brought us a gas grill when we couldn't grill outside because of the heavy rain. The place is very clean and tidy and there are screens in front of the windows to keep the insects out if you want to open your windows. We didn't use the splash pool as it rained the whole time we were there.

I wish to thank Thinus for a great stay. You have a awesome place that was spectacular clean, we enjoyed our stay and the pool came in very handy with the warm weather. I would definitely come back. The attention to detail in this house is impeccable and not far from the river where we walked down to. We could hear the hippos and the elephants as well. Pity there was no lions when we were there.
Owner very friendly. We really enjoyed the time. The house is equipped with everything you need. The one room was just extremely hot and the ceiling fan didn't help much. It was also extremely hot the day the power was out. But that's understandable. It gets very hot there. Furthermore, we had a great time and will definitely do so again.

The house and location are ideal for a getaway in the woods. Private, clean and with all amenities. Only visitors are the animals - kudus, impalas and even a giraffe. In the evening, the nightcaps provide hours of entertainment. The TV is totally redundant because you don't use it. Spent a wonderful few days there! I'll be back soon!

Spoorsnyertjie is definitely equipped with what is necessary to rest your family there for the time being. The 3 bedroom unit with spacious sitting rooms as well as double bathroom facilities is sufficient for a large family of 6. The famous night monkeys come and make their appearance every now and then and make sure you have a banana or more for them.
