103 guests' feedbackYes, we had a nice stay.
Very nice stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Very nice stay. Friendly service. Rooms are nice and clean.
Had a wonderful stay. Slept well.
The stay was fine and everything needed for one night stay over was in the room.
Efficient check-in and check-out. Rooms clean and comfortable. Internet was fast and stable.
Definitely, luxurious feeling.
The music was just disturbing and guests made a lot of noise in the middle of the night. The big fridge on the counter made it very cramped and we didn't even use it because we had breakfast in the restaurant. Breakfast was well prepared and a great variety to choose from.
On arrival reception was unhelpful, key put on the counter and said room down the hall had to ask what is Fifi code, how does the dining work. We stayed in no 10, curtains were torn.
Awful food. Supper was awful with no vegetarian options and at breakfast the boiled eggs were burnt. Didn't think that was possible.
Room by 14:00 still not made to the side.
Very short staffed. Poor service.
The rooms were clean and tidy, but when you turned on the hot tap there was an unearthly noise in the pipes. We had to eat the buffet dinner that evening, no a la carte orders were taken. The hotel was quite full and we had to wait for certain dishes to be refilled. At breakfast the floor was under coffee, the coffee machine leaked badly.
Friendly service and nice hotel.
Shower without a door, water leaks the floor. Transferred to the manager. 2 flower tour groups plus other guests. Staff a bit overwhelmed with the volumes.
Arrived late on Friday, the receptionist was very friendly and the restaurant staff brought me my dinner to the room. Room was neat and service from all staff was good and they were friendly.
A few days before our arrival I called to see if we should book for dinner, they said no there will always be room. When we got there there was no place. We then wanted to wait. But guests say they have been waiting 90 minutes for their food. We then go to reception and ask if we can get coffee. They say no they are too busy. This in a hotel.
The TV didn't have a good signal and they didn't have no 201 for the rugby, extremely poor.
Only had an overnight stay for which it was perfect. Good food, friendly service and clean and comfortable rooms. For single person stays there should be a reduced price option - good value for money for 2 people sharing, a bit pricy for single accommodation.
We had a great stay and the meals offered in the restaurant were very tasty and very affordable.
Clean, tidy accommodation. After the heat outside, it was a cool experience to step into the room. Meals were delicious!
Checked in quickly. Room neat, but on a very busy corridor where staff greet each other loudly early in the morning and it sounds like a megaphone in the corridors. Lamps next to the bed, looking sad and crooked. Maybe time to pay attention to it.
Bathroom is tiny and when you open the shower the whole floor is under water. Beautiful hotel but needs attention with the things mentioned. Shower lacks attention and sewage system is a problem. Also lacks seating in and outside rooms.
Very good value for money. Breakfast included in the price. Very well located especially for the flower season.
Another fairly new building. Appears slightly clinical but will develop more character with time.
Staff excellent. Very helpful.
I was very impressed with the Springbok Inn. Everything was clean, neat and luxurious. Will stay there again anytime!
Wonderful location just outside Springbok. Very neat and clean. Beautiful view. Spacious dining hall for dinners and breakfasts.
It is no longer as clean as it was at the beginning. Breakfast is served until 10:00, we ate just after 8:00. Lots of flies at breakfast. I had to fetch glasses, cups, eggs, bread and cheese from the kitchen myself.
Arrived early at the hotel and room was not ready. Reception went out of their way to ensure that we did not have a long wait before we were able to check in. Reception and general staff very friendly and efficient. The restaurant unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired.
Nice new hotel with neat basic rooms.
Die Springbok Inn was stunning. Die mense is vriendelik en die kos, my genade die kos is heerlik en so baie.
The people were very kind with delicious food.
The hotel is excellent and the service of staff was very good and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely visit again.
Reception was friendly and without hiccups. Premises and buildings very neat. Delicious food.
Excellent stay. Will come again.
Everything was excellent, would only recommend that they consider a concierge service. The ground floor rooms are a bit noisy compared to the upper ones. We are very grateful that we were moved to an upper room with a walk-in shower compared to the first night's ground floor room with a shower-over-bath. Breakfast was excellent and reception friendly.
Can recommend it.
A very nice halfway station on the way to the West Coast. Very neat and clean and friendly staff.
What a pleasant surprise after a long day on the road. Very friendly staff and very clean accommodation. We enjoyed the restaurant and pool. The view from here is beautiful. Rooms were clean and tidy with everything you need. Loved the sliding door in the room. Breakfast was delicious and enough variety. Can recommend you guys with an open mind for travelers or even if you want to stay longer.
Clean, comfortable, friendly service, good food, value for money.
Very nice and neat. Dishes in restaurant average. Directions provided to hotel wrong and we pretty much drove around and struggled to get there. Hotel is aware of problem but not corrected. Did not refill the coffee and tea provided on the second day.
Best hotel ever, great vibe and the rooms are super neat.
Good service and neat accommodation.
We were warmly received and helpers helped all our tour members to take bags etc to their rooms. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and our tour members really enjoyed spending the night there and will definitely book there again.
The rooms were neat and clean. The staff were very helpful 24 hours a day. The food was delicious and always served with a smile. Springbok Inn will definitely see me again.
We were in room 230. I had to take a lot of luggage to the room. There was no concierge or any help offered, which left a poor impression with me.
On this day, Eskom decided that the whole town would be without power until around 20h00 in the evening. Despite this we got a warm welcome, good food and a hot shower - the room was neat and clean. It was truly a good decision to stay here.
Facilities are neat. For a hotel it is also quiet and peaceful. Will stay there again.

Dealing with customers is not their strong point. Wrong attitude shown not only to us but other customers was observed whilst waiting to check in. The restaurant is only open for breakfast until 09:00 and then a buffet dinner from 19:00. Website says open a la carte all day! It is a welcome addition to the available accommodation in Springbok and the rooms are top class as is the establishment. A pity about the staff at both reception and the breakfast venue.
Ordinary, nothing special. Breakfast was basic breakfast, staff were pleasant. Only buffet was available for dinner. No room service.
The Springbok hotel is built a fair way out of town so it’s not possible to walk into town from there. It’s a modern building which has the feel of an American model once inside. The reception area is a vast cavernous space, some of which would have been better used to create a homely, welcoming bar. The bar as it is consists of a row of bar stools along a counter in the ‘restaurant’. The restaurant reminded me of a school canteen; all bright lights and plastic chairs. As it didn’t look at all welcoming we went out for dinner. The breakfast was ok and there was the option of asking for eggs done how we wanted rather than scrambled. The room was clean but somewhat weirdly had the handbasin in the bedroom while the shower and sink were housed in the very small bathroom. The place is ok for an overnight stay but it’s a bit soulless.
Slept above on the linen room. Very noisy. No shelter from the rain on the stairs. Tiles are dangerous and very slippery. No elevator. Neat rooms.
Friendly staff, but not well informed.
Friendly service from your arrival to your departure! Truly an exceptional oasis.
Comfortable, quality accommodation close to main road at reasonable prices. Restaurant food fantastic with large portions. Staff very helpful and friendly.
It was a feast to spend the night at Springbok Inn. Dinner was delicious and well priced. We booked a room without requesting accommodation on the ground floor. Springbok Inn had no problem changing our room to a ground unit.
I was received so kindly at the Springbok Inn - Namakwa hospitality through and through. My room was beautifully neat and clean. This is a lovely hotel and so easy to get to from the N7. I enjoyed a delicious dinner on the restaurant's deck with a very beautiful sunset. You will definitely see me again.
Good service, clean tidy room, coffee facilities after a long journey, nice surroundings and view. Good breakfast.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful area. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and come back again and again with my business visits in Springbok. The friendly people as well as the excellent service are always a belt under the heart for us. We will visit again. Thank you very much for LekkeSlaap, you, Claudette, you are great!
See stars.
We had a nice stay. Staff very friendly. Food was also good and the children really enjoyed the pool. Very clean and tidy rooms.
Excellent for overnight between Gauteng and Western Cape. Professional and friendly service in great facilities. Even excellent and variety of food and drink.
We enjoyed every moment. Friendly staff and very good service. Will definitely stay there again next year.
The neat, modern, clean appearance of the hotel is impressive, as well as the excellent and friendly service fills all the qualities to make it an exceptional experience for us. Well done and keep it up.
I only stayed for one night. The rooms are neat and clean, staff friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The only problem I had was that older people should not book on the second floor, as there is no lift. I asked for a lower level but they said there was nothing available, even though it didn't look like there were any guests. It is only my opinion and it didn't have an influence on how I feel about Springbik Inn. Enjoyable stay, thank you.
Everything is nice and clean from the room to the restaurant and relaxation areas by the pool. The food is basic but very tasty with ridiculously large portions. Good mercy, we were so full from dinner that we didn't even eat breakfast. You definitely get value for your money at that restaurant. We saw a red cat during dinner which was very special. The overseas tourists pretty much freaked out about it. The decor is very nice but it doesn't radiate warmth - it's very clinical. Would like an easy chair in room for reading purposes. I like the fact that the Inn is just outside of town. In this way one can really appreciate the silence. The shower is in the bath which is not a problem but the bath is very slippery. I would recommend they look at options otherwise they may have injuries/claims imminent. I didn't feel unsafe in any way and you don't want the place to feel and look like a prison, but there may be people who may feel that the ground level rooms at the front of Inn should get security gates. We had a great stay and the booking process went smoothly.
Was pleasantly surprised with Springbok Inn. All I would have liked differently is a greater variety on the menu.
Neat, luxurious accommodation for the extra pampering on the way to our holiday destination. Definitely on our visit list again and definitely a longer visit.
Bathrooms in disabled rooms are not according to regulations. Could not get wheelchair passed the toilet to the shower! Very disappointing.
Beautiful, clean and good reception. Dinner was maybe a bit slapdash and no service was available but that might be because 3 tour buses full of people were also in the dining room at that stage.
Quiet place, enjoyed it a lot. The bar area's TV on the wall needs upgrading (sports fan). Menu not too bad, but not everyone who eats meat (e.g. chicken and chips).
Like a number of previous reviews, we also cannot understand why the sink has to be in the bedroom. Probably since there is a bathtub in the bathroom and offers no space. Who else is bathing? With all the glass and tiles in the dining room you can't hear yourself think because of the echoes, especially if there is a tour group. During the night, doors somewhere also slammed loudly in the wind which was a disturbance. The evening meal was hopelessly overpriced. The receptionist Rebecca was very helpful.
Haven't stayed at a place so cosy in years. Everything was just perfect.
Even though there was no electricity, the staff handled everything so well. We still felt welcome and comfortable,
With the reception, accommodation and friendly hospitality I would want to stay there again.
Enjoyed the stay and would spend the night there again.
Stunning quality rooms. Menu is a bit limited but meals ordered were great.
Seeing that this is a new hotel, it is obvious that everything is not hunky-dory yet - the buffet breakfast was excellent, but the rest of the restaurant's menu was barely sufficient. No porters to help the older people? Stayed there for three days and all of staff were always friendly and helpful. Everything in the room was functional and the coffee/tea were lovely. The air-conditioner made a huge difference. Thanks a lot - we will visit again.
Rooms are very nice and comfortable, but evident that the hotel is going through many teething problems since recent opening. The staff are of the nicest people one can meet, from reception to the restaurant staff, and are very helpful.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will highly recommend Springbok Inn and will definitely stay hear again.
Feel free to see the stars.
Lots of noise in room when other guests use showers. It is clear that poor faucets have been installed in showers. An awful lot of water hammer and vibration that makes an unearthly sound. We could not sleep before 12 o'clock in the evening because of noise. The same again at 5 o'clock in the morning.
The Inn has only recently opened and rooms and facilities are great, but there are design problems such as hot water inadequate and floors so slippery that there is bound to be an injury to one of the guests. The manager is taking notes of the issues and hopefully the hot water issue can be resolved. Otherwise a nice stay.
Very beautiful and cute place - was pleasantly surprised with it. Rooms were neat and clean and very comfortable. Meals are value for money and service is prompt and professional.
Well located, neat accommodation with friendly service.
We were on a wild flower tour and stayed 2 nights. Had a wonderful time in the restaurant. Room is beautifully appointed and clean.
See the ratings.
High class accommodation in future.
Pleasant accommodation despite a few problems with waters and slow service from the kitchen. Springbok Inn is still new and the staff not completely clued up on service. Otherwise our group's accommodation was pleasant.
We are pensioners who booked on the second floor. With sore knees, climbing stairs is hard enough. (No elevators). There was no help getting your luggage into the room and only two porter trolleys available in the entire Inn. Younger people used it and we had to struggle with luggage ourselves. We also happened to hear the same complaint from older people who booked on the third floor. We were in the manager's close presence several times like on opposite sides of the front desk, but he never once made an effort to greet us. Also, the internet signal was very weak and you had to move around the Inn with a computer until you could access it. Thank you very much for the excellent service we experienced with LekkeSlaap. It is unbeatable and I would recommend anyone to book through you. It was a great experience. Thank you!
Neat clean accommodation. Pool is small and misplaced right next to the dining hall. Information sheets are missing in the rooms.
Stunning hotel, but unpractical in terms of stairs - tourist, especially pensioners, will struggle with lots of luggage.
Still new and believe they have teething problems. Tiles very slippery when wet. This is a safety risk.
The accommodation was nice and the people were friendly and helpful.
Rooms were serviced very late or never if not requested. Water situation was bad or absent or almost non-existent for shower. We really needed this because we were cycling in the Namaqua Quest..
At half past 4 our rooms were still not ready. 5 hours when we eventually checked in, towels were still not ready. By the evening we got at least 1 towel. Water pipes made so much noise that no one could sleep. Cold water next morning and no water in the afternoon. Just checked out earlier and went home.
Hotel creates a good impression with the fact that everything is new. There are not enough and professionally trained staff. 1) Room reservation made for a room with a king-size bed. Got there, 2x3/4 beds in the room. Waited almost 1 hour for them to come and change beds. All the linen was brand new linen, but was taken out of store packaging, so not washed and ironed. Weak. 2) Refrigerator facilities inadequate. "Cooler". No ice. No room service options. 3) Dinner in so-called restaurant a nightmare. They are not up to the job. One got the impression that it was a bunch of amateurs trying to run the hotel. From the time we ordered dinner - from a very limited menu - we waited an hour for a hamburger and a chicken salad. 4) Room was still not serviced by 13:30 on day one. When I complained about it, the lady from management made me understand that they cannot "cope" with the workload. Hello? It seems they are too stingy to hire enough staff. She made me feel guilty for being unhappy with the type of poor service. 5) When the girl finally came to service the room at 15:30, the glasses and coffee cups were not exchanged with scones from the kitchen. No. It was washed with green soap from a spread bottle in the sink in which we as guests had to do our personal hygiene. The sink is not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom. That alone is enough to take away all 4 of their so-called stars. With all the resistant organisms these days, it is totally unheard of to wash cutlery and crockery in the same sink as people practice their personal hygiene. Would you wash your child's diapers or your family's underwear in your kitchen sink in which you wash your dishes? 6) Second day no improvement. Room not serviced by 17:00. I had to run after the maid to ask for toilet paper. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. They exploit people. Not worth the star status at all. 7) Breakfast was a disaster every morning. Looked like a national service or Voortrekker camp. Poor service and planning. Woman stands behind food bowls sucked against the wall and scoops in hot breakfast. Like a hostel matron who wants to ration you. Not what is expected in a 4 star hotel. Bread is carried in the bag to the empty bread plate and unpacked there with bare hands. Oh no man. How extremely unprofessional. 8) Bathroom very poorly planned. You have to stand in the shower to close the door before you can use the toilet, otherwise you won't be able to close the door. The glass partition between the shower and the toilet is inadequate. The whole floor is wet when you've finished showering. The result is, all the towels are soaking wet after 2 people have showered as the bath mat is insufficient to absorb all the water on the floor. Towels had to be used for that, otherwise you would surely have fallen on the bitterly slippery floor tiles. General impression? The people are not interested in providing their customers with good service. They just want to make money. Not worth the money we paid at all.
