The service was great. The rooms are very neat and the staff is very helpful and friendly. On the porch there are very nice couches where you can sit and relax and reading books are placed everywhere for you to read.
It is very beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Biggest shortcomings were the lack of pass directions, no WiFi at the cottages, communication about the dinner menu and price was not presented to us. Upon enquiry, the dinner was R255 per person which was excessive. Mark was unsteady on his feet while serving our drinks and food during dinner. However, the lady who was responsible for the breakfast service saves the whole situation with her professionalism and pleasant personality. Our payment, which was already made 10 days before check-in, did not show up at the office. Recommend Lenmore around the corner for great food.
A good alternative to a stay at ado park itself with the possibility to dine in elephants house but also to take a pizza or hamburger around the corner. An African atmosphere away from the world but with all comfort.
Rates compared with value meant for foreigners. Directions to Stable Cottages non-existent. Staff however are very helpful.
