9 guests' feedbackStanford house is a little piece of heaven on earth! The house is beautiful with the most beautiful living room and patio. You can walk everywhere - it's so nice, safe and quiet.
The house is tastefully furnished and fully equipped. It's a lovely chair with a beautiful view.
The owners were contactable, took us a while to find the house as there was no name on the gates which were a bit overgrown with trees and shrubs. The amenities were as described and there were ample kitchen utensils. We needed to get away to recharge in the quiet countryside and we did just that!
We were a small group of friends with a baby and a toddler and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend! I saw in advance that there was no bath, and took a bath with me for my baby. The house, especially the kitchen, is very nicely furnished. It feels like a home away from home. Will definitely want to go again, next time, just longer than a weekend!
Very nice and practical house in Stanford by the Little River. Wonderful facilities with plenty of space for you and your family. Very nice large kitchen and living room area. Nice safe garden for your dogs to play. Within walking distance of the town and many nice restaurants. Very comfortable beds.
Enjoyed the welcoming home of The River House. The big fire place was a highlight. Lovely sunny veranda with braai facility overlooking a well kept garden. Close to main street town to walk.
Lovely accommodation with large, open living area. Fireplace makes it very pleasant winter break. Well located. Will go there again with the whole family.
Stephanie gave us a very nice welcome to the house. We had a wonderful time there enjoying the nice view on the River and the mountains.
The second bathroom was a bit problematic due to the the shower water that didn't drain properly, but we did inform the hostess. The guest bathroom needs a hook for a towel. Blankets are needed for winter evenings. A TV can be an asset even though there's a lovely fireplace. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Will stay there again if attention is given to the above mentioned.
