The house is well furnished with more than you need, beautiful sea view and very tidy. Would definitely recommend Stanford's Cove Villa.

While the villa was in a beautiful location with great views, there were a few disappointing things. The bins were not cleaned out before we got there and there were disturbing things in the bins. There was also no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The knives were so blunt and actually not useable. We also couldn't find things like black bags - it just wasn't very user-friendly. A bit disappointing considering it was quite expensive.
The harbor in Gansbaai is lovely to visit. The Overberg's canola was in flower and the whales came to visit. The surrounding areas have many activities and it is wonderful to feel part of the Overstrand.
I will book again.

We discovered a place in Stanford that we plan to visit at least twice a year for the foreseeable future. The view is amazing as well as the atmosphere of relaxed yet luxurious feel makes for a great weekend away. We didn't realize how big the villa was until we walked in. The price is suitable for 2 persons, but with sleeping space for one more couple and even for children. Pleasant surprise!
We went as a group of 4 friends. The place was very nice with modern finishes. The view is nice as well. The beach is mostly rocky and not sandy so not really for walking on.
Finding the place was tiring but worth find it. Beautiful and clean.
We rented both units with family. I would recommend it. Space is more than enough and there is enough of everything. Another bonus was the complimentary percolator coffee that was available. Would definitely want to go again as a weekend is too short.

From the friendly welcome and breathtaking views from the deck, our quick visit there was unforgettable, just walking down to the beach and watching the sun set over the sea was soul food. The accommodation is luxurious and elegantly furnished with everything that opens and closes. We will definitely visit again.

Incredible! Heaven on earth! The place is incredibly beautiful, very nicely equipped.
We stayed nice, there was a strange smell in the middle room, but we didn't use it so it didn't bother us. The geyser was not on so the water was cold the next morning, which was less nice.

Absolutely a stunning view and great location. Unfortunately there are all kinds of small maintenance issues and for the price one would definitely expect that there would be a dishwasher and everything would be fine, which unfortunately is not the case.

Very nice stay. Was peaceful and view is breathtaking. Nice and spacious and beautifully furnished. One negative point was that some of the upholstery of sofas and chairs had dirty spots.
We had the following maintenance problems: air conditioner and DStv didn't work at first, bathroom light didn't work, toilet seat was broken, dishwasher didn't work, kitchen trash was broken, pool had so much chlorine in it that it stained our clothes and caused a rash on our children's skin. There is also a problem with the drainage system of the house and we had to close all sink and toilet plugs otherwise an unpleasant drain smell filled the house. We sat without water for 24 hours and also one night without electricity because there was not enough credit pre-loaded on the prepaid meter. On the last night we noticed that the neighbours' children had access to a part of the house and that they were sleeping there and playing table tennis. The door to this area of the house was not locked and therefore strangers had access to our accommodation and I find this unacceptable.
