Guests are able to book each lodge individually, or as a large group, guests can book a combination of the 5 lodges. Although the lodges are not connected, they’re less than 400 m apart, making it easy to move between them. Complimentary Wi-Fi will enable guests to send emails, check social media or make WhatsApp calls, as cell phone signal is poor in the area.
Waterford Lodge is the only lodge that has a private swimming pool.
A guided horse riding tour of the Inhlosane Farm can be arranged with some of the well-schooled horses available. If you are a mountain biking enthusiast, your location at Star Dam Estate places you firmly in the heartland of some stunning riding territory. For those who enjoy being on the water, there are 4 fishing boats fitted with sneaker motors available for hire. The dam is perfect for fly fishing. Guests are welcome to bring their own canoes along.

We loved our time at the Estate. We found the staff incredibly friendly and so helpful. The accommodations are wonderful. It is indeed a place to digitally detox!
Breakage deposit is not fair. We were charged for breakages that were not our fault. The house does not comfortably accommodate 12 people. The on-site staff are also very helpful. We understand it is winter, but the small fireplace does not handle the cold well. Outrageous price for very little. There are much better venues in the area that are half the price. Sadly, what you see online does not compare to reality. We wanted to watch the Springboks vs Ireland game, but the DStv is not connected. Very disappointed and we won't return.

The housekeepers are friendly and helpful, you can rely on them. The house is fully equipped with everything you need.
Lovely accommodation. A couple of km along a dirt road to get to the estate. Remote stay and about 30 min to any Midlands eating spots. Perfect spot for a few days if you want to get away and relax.
Customer service was extremely poor. Racism. Bad road. The two gentlemen who assisted with horse riding are the reason they lodge will get a star at least, otherwise, the location is the best but everything else is poor. They must fix the roads and improve on their hospitality.
Lovely lodge that has an amazing fireplace! Private and secure. Fabulous for fishing as you can hire out a boat and take a cruise at your leisure. Big draw-back was no signal, so for teenagers that was not so great. Lovely scenery in the misty mountains.

The lodge offers a spacious and well-equipped open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with a large fireplace. Each bathroom is fitted with a shower, underfloor heating and heated towel rails. A wooden deck runs the full length of the house with stack-away doors that fold away to reveal panoramic views of the dam. There is no Wi-Fi or TV at Ingleford Lodge, but there is a Weber braai for guests` enjoyment. Guests will have to bring their own charcoal and firelighters. Braaiing is strictly prohibited on the wooden deck. Ingleford Lodge offers guests the convenience of a Nespresso machine, but guests would have to bring their own pods.
