Children are welcome but are to be supervised at all times due to the hot tub, and the fact that there is a staircase inside the house. The property is also not walled off from the street.
No jumping on beds or any furniture.
Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Any stains that cannot be removed will be charged for.
The house is cleaned by a professional cleaning company before and after each guest arrival. This is at an additional cost. Any excess heavy cleaning that is found necessary after you vacate will be charged for over and above the standard cleaning rate. A cleaner can be arranged for your convenience for a daily fee.
An additional refundable breakage deposit is charged. This is refundable 15 days after check-out, should there be no damages.
Please park your vehicle in front of the house only. There is ample parking space for a vehicle, boat and trailer.
The hot tub is cleaned at every change of guests, and the water is replaced by clean tap water and chlorinated. It is not permitted for guests to drain the hot tub and refill it yourself.
Only wood is allowed in the fire compartment of the hot tub.
Only a small fire is required and as you want the water to heat up you add additional wood. The stainless steel cover does get hot, please be very careful not to place it on the side of the hot tub as it will burn and you will be held responsible for the costs.
When the hot tub is not in use, or when leaving the area, please do not leave fire unattended.

Our only feedback: The floors were slightly slippery. We assume it's due to the floor detergent used. It will be convenient to have liquid soap in the bathrooms for hand washing. Thank you.
I received amazing service from the get-go. The pictures of Starfish Cottage, Langebaan don't do justice to what the place actually looks like. This place is absolutely stunning. The host, Nicky, was so understanding and helpful when we had to check in later than anticipated, and I could text her whenever I needed help or assistance. The house is absolutely beautiful. We loved the open spaces, the bedrooms were gorgeous, the kitchen had everything we required and so much more. Although misty, we enjoyed the hot tub, and the awesome views that came from the deck. The house is super conveniently located right opposite Club Mykonos, where we had supper one night, and had no issues entering the premises of the resort. The house is also 2 minutes away from the mall which was so great. I will definitely recommend Starfish Cottage, Langebaan. We will undoubtedly be coming back to this amazing establishment.

The place is very well located, literally 5 min walk to the mall and main beach. Very neat and clean, will definitely stay there again! The owners are very helpful and got an update every day about the load shedding schedule.

Thank you for the beautiful house, except there were too many rules, for example, the expectations of the guests to make sure dustbins are emptied, towels on a certain place, etc. Please place all the house rules on the website for guests to make an informed choice and not be handed a 5-page document after final payment.
