The room is spacious and offers everything you need for a short stay.
It was absolutely amazing.
We arrived at 24h00 on 17 May and found that other people were in our confirmed room. We tried calling the venue representative with no answer, and we had to sleep with other guests who had extra beds in their room, but with no extra blankets. The next morning when I checked my WhatsApp, I saw that we were moved to another location. I do not read WhatsApp messages from people who are not in my contacts and will read them when I have time. Perhaps next time when we guests are being sent WhatsApp messages and being called on WhatsApp and there is no answer, they should make a normal call to inform them about alternative arrangements. Thanks.

Our team has now stayed here for the 2 years in their 11 days at Bleom Skou. We are very satisfied with the guest house. The service and cleanliness are great. They maintain the rooms nicely, and additionally offer to do our team's laundry etc. to do. Very cute, neat, beautiful place, and definitely worth every penny!

Just would have liked another coffee for each. There was no tea and no biscuits. The bedroom also has a stale cigarette smoke smell which we as non-smokers don't like.

We had a nice stay. Unfortunately the power was on all evening for half an hour and then off again for an hour or a half. Luckily it was cool so we could have the windows open for some breeze.

We as a family attend the national bowling championships every year, in which our son participates. We booked the specific accommodation together with friends because there are photos of the swimming pool facilities etc everywhere. was and this time of year is incredibly hot in Bloemfontein. To our disappointment, we were only informed upon our arrival that the pool facilities were for unit 7's use only. It was never said beforehand. We booked a total of 3 units with a total of 4 children who unfortunately could not swim. Our unit's bathroom is located at the entrance, with the sink in the kitchen area. Not ideal. The television was out of order, the WiFi only worked intermittently. After the 2nd night our portable braai was removed. Due to bent key it was almost impossible to lock unit at night. Last morning before departure, no hot water. Definitely false advertising.
No, not a nice stay. The place was neglected and not clean. The place is not maintained. Doors struggle to lock and the bedding is old and neglected.
Juan has terrible communication and was hard to get a hold of. The room was not the best. The aircon was not working, and neither was the electric blanket. The unit had a broken microwave, of which Juan tried to accuse us of damaging. Very disappointed with the service.

The visit was nice.
The stay at Stay@126 was good. Just two problems. There is only a cold water tap by the sink in the kitchen, i.e. one has to wash dishes with cold water or boil the kettle to get hot water. Also too few pots to make food, we wanted to make pancakes because it was raining, but there was no pan or mixing bowl available. Also only 4 single beds in the room, instead of one double bed and two singles.
We had a very nice overnight stay in room 7 with all its space. Full kitchen and spacious room. With full DStv, with a swimming pool and lapa at your disposal with secure parking. The accommodation is very centrally located but still outside the city centre. Nice quiet environment and a wonderful overnight stay and rest with delicious hot water. We will stay there again if we visit Bloemfontein again.
I stayed in a different unit than usual and had previously seen renovations taking place here and there. Prospero was a lovely unit with everything one could need. Neat, convenient and comfortable.

Only recommendation I can make is that they purchase brooms and mops for the cottages. Service was good, places are pretty neat and it was very nice to stay there.

Both the agency and owner were hands-on and hospitable. We were provided with all the necessary information upfront. We didn't have to request or ask. The only disappointment was that "Grace" was advertised as a self-catering unit, however, there was no stove. Great place all round.
Would only recommend putting lights on along the corridor you walk to get to number 7. Those solar lights that work on motion will work well there and don't cost much.

We had a great stay, The parking area is a bit small, but very friendly service. Loadshedding was just an inconvenience. Our dog was also with us, the lawn had nice space for him. Will stay there again for sure.

We would definitely return. It is close to all our needs, we could help ourselves with some basic cooking, and the teenagers could watch a movie at night. What more do you need?
A safe overnight stay.
First experience very nice. Second time no air conditioning, boiler didn't work and shower couldn't open all the way either.
Maybe for the winter, they should put up some curtains in the Lika unit.
Clean, tidy and comfortable.
Difficult to get to the apartment with luggage. Have to walk through yard and past other apartments. We also lacked cutlery, but contacted the owner and they tried to help. Only a candle was available during loadshedding.
The bathroom was good. Lovely shower, hot water and good towels. There was 1 piece of rusk after it was stated on the website that rusk was provided. I inquired about it and a container with 2 pieces of rusk was then provided. There was no place to hang clothes. Our visit in Bloemfontein was for a consolation service. Luckily we transported the clothes over hangers in the vehicle, clothes hung over the shower rail when we weren't using the shower. Bed slept well. But a small table or cabinet on both sides of the bed will help a lot for putting down glasses, watches etc. There is no backup for loadshedding, e.g. lightly. There was a small cherry without matches.
Had no sleep on Friday night with people making noise until 3 in the morning. Only 1 room had a fan, the other didn't at all, and the air conditioning didn't work. There were also ants everywhere.
They might just let people know about the geysers because we didn't have hot water the 2nd night and it was bitterly cold. Very grateful for the aircon.
I was welcomed with a whatsapp from the manager/owner. When I reported a problem on the same platform it took almost 17 hours before we got a response. There is an air conditioner that does not work in the master bedroom. The owner/manager's response to this is that it is not advertised on the website, which it is, but only one fan is provided for the 2 rooms. We slept with the window open, but it was unbearably hot. The unit also needs attention. A hole in the door, a shower handle that was broken and falling off every now and then, a blocked shower that washed the entire bathroom area and we then had to clean it ourselves with towels. Positive aspects were when Juan came back to us in the end he unblocked the shower, turned on the Netflix and provided an extra fan. However, it was only on the 2nd day of our visit The property is also well located.
Had to request a change of blanket. Dirty and stained. Although 4 beds were available only 2 chairs at a way to a small table, 1 of the party had to sit on the bed and eat off the lap. Never stay there again not even for half price.
No plugs in bedroom. TV was not working. Front sliding door's lock is broken. Fridge was not on when we arrived. No cupboards in bedroom. Glass shower doors come off rails.
The guest house is in a very busy street and not as quiet a neighborhood as advertised. The shower head sprays against the wall and cannot be adjusted at all. The little ants all over the floor and at the kitchen sink without any lure like a dirty plate or food was bad. The entrance gate makes a lot of noise with guests who have come in late. The sink was separated from the toilet by a vertical board which was very unstable. The boiler trips the power. Guests who arrive late have no respect for people who are already sleeping. The breakfast nook's furniture reduces the space. Only one loose chair available. Only Whatsapp contact with owner and no one followed up if everything was ok.
The rooms on photos showed aircon, when I contacted the owner 3 times I got no answer, the owner said in a very inappropriate way that it doesn't say anywhere that the aircon is working and he would think that one would find out what commodities are there, he also said there is a fan, I asked for another fan it's 2 rooms and Bloem is hot and that the aircon in pictures made me believe that it will be there. Parking is too little, we were stuck parking and had to wait for other people to drive so we could get out.
The area is nice and quiet and the owner was eager to help if a problem arose. Would definitely recommend to other travelers.
Fantastic bed - best sleep ever in a guest house. Only negative thing is that there was only one cup and one glass and we were 2 people. Otherwise, everything was beautifully clean and tidy. Very pleasant.

Would also prefer to have an extra pillow or bedding (blankets) available. There is also a lack of a branch or cabinet in the bathroom to put something like your toothbrush and clothes. Shower taps are just not fixed properly so they leak when opened, maybe something to look at as it spills more water than it should.

Spacious and tidy and in a lovely quiet environment.
I went to visit my children in Bloemfontein and looked for a place to stay that was affordable and where I could do my own thing. Stay @ 126 exceeded my expectations. I could get in and out as I pleased, with safe parking and could leave my vehicle and drive around with my children.
My family and I stayed 1 night. The price was good and accommodation was even better. Nice and spacious, clean and nice and quiet after a long drive.
Room is well furnished with good quality beds and linen and a nice big bathroom with enough space for bathroom vanities. Would suggest that a small table or bench for travelers' bags be provided in master bedroom. Overnight travelers live out of suitcases and it's only convenient if everything doesn't have to lie on the floor. Kitchen is adequate, we just found that there is little work surface (especially if you still have coolers and picnic baskets as well) - if the bed could be against the wall it could open up more space. The enclosed courtyard is comfortable and nice clean and safe because we travel with our small dogs. The host kindly agreed that we could use the pool as the unit was not in use. I do wonder if the exclusivity of the pool (for only a particular unit) should perhaps be opened up for everyone's use. In the month of December it gets very hot in Bloemfontein and the beautiful cool swimming pool can provide a refreshing experience for many who stay overnight. All and all - place is well appointed, safe, close to attractions. Would recommend it.

We needed a break from our 10-hour drive from CPT and this accommodation more than ticked the boxes for necessaries. Centralised location and enough restaurants within 5min drive.

We really enjoyed our time at the place. However, we only had problems with DStv on the first day and Netflix on our last day.
I had no problems. I would just make a different plan with the parking of the place, we had no parking at all when we did go to sleep. The other vehicles were not parked properly, and the parking was made for cars and not for big vans. Parking is too small.

Very nice place and very safe feeling, we were Unit 6 and there is a lot of privacy and a very nice bathroom. One suggestion I would make is to change the lawn in front of Unit 6 to a parking area.
Carpets next to the bed would be nice and bigger bath mats. An extra bedside table and reading light is a must?
I travelled with my brother, therefor booked a unit with separate sleeping areas, however, 1 double bed were made, no other linen was available to make a separate bed, we had to share pillows and blankets. The coffee etc. provided was not much, luckily we took some with us. Everything else was OK, but please, the little rack above the basin in the bathroom is a bit low!
Wish more people could make it fairer for parents who have children studying or going to school in the city.
I would suggest a bedside lamp as well as a small waste bin next to the toilet.
The only toilet and shower is in an open plan bedroom which is a problem for a family of 6 with teenagers. We had to take turns in the master bedroom to use the toilet and shower.
As we experienced in Graaff-Reinet, the so-called Smart TV has a preference for Netflix. Juan set the TV for us on DStv mate it left us again after a while. A TV-less Sunday evening in Bloemfontein. It's not the end of the world. Quiet surroundings, basic amenities but everything needed was there. The rooms are near Prellerplein in Dan Pienaar and are well located, close to the city but in a quiet neighborhood.

There was load shedding before we were there, no provision was made for it. The owner couldn't even tell us when it would be. The sink is very small with no place to put anything down. Walls are drywall and can hear noise from neighbors.

I was really surprised! The rooms are in excellent condition! It is more than I expected. Lovely bedding, spacious kitchens in our unit and lovely bathroom. Everything painfully clean and tidy! My kids especially loved the TV with Netflix! The location is also just around the corner from delicious restaurants and a mall. Everything you need is located very close. I would really recommend them for an overnight stay and would definitely use them again.

We had a great stay and our little dog was also welcome. As a mother traveling alone with 3 little ones, this was a very comfortable place for us to sleep! The children were very happy about the Smarties on their beds and the owner went out of his way to accommodate us.

The geyser is not big enough for 4 people to take a hot shower, our water was cold. Drying rack by the sink will help when washing dishes. Putting a rack on the wall for the microwave and toaster, everything by the sink on the counter makes things quite difficult. If you travel with small children, there are quite a lot of things that need to be close by. Furthermore, we had a very nice stay.
Information messages were sent well in advance and it was not difficult to find the place because a location pin was also sent, we had some problems with hot water, but the last morning the water was better. Other than that, no complaints.

I was satisfied. I received what I asked for. Affordable, pet-friendly accommodation on the way back to Gauteng from the Cape.
Cold winter evening. Aircon not working, only duvet with a thin fleece blanket. 2 single beds in room are unmade which do not look tidy at all. One flat pillow available per person, which we just folded double. Owner not met at all. Parking very limited. Outside lights were only switched on at 22:00 and had to struggle slightly with mobile phone to move from and to vehicle in the dark.
The place was not up to standard. There was no soap, the room's aircon was on and off. TV went on and off, the blankets on the bed reeked of cat pee. There had not been enough coffee, milk, sugar. Wasn't really a nice visit. Very disappointed.
