The most beautiful house with the most wonderful facilities and furnishings. The silence around you is something that simply gives your soul rest. Great communication and welcome basket from the host. The decor and finishes are absolutely stunning. We would recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to come back ourselves!

I took my parents away for their 35th wedding anniversary. I pre-arranged for flowers and sparkling wine. The place was neat and incredibly cute. The owner's attention to detail is incredible, we immediately felt welcome. There was even a note to welcome us. The hot tub is a winner. We will certainly recommend the accommodation.
The most delicious barbecue on the porch while the hot tub is steaming. All three of us used it every day. Nice big outdoor grill for pot making and grilling at the same time. Stunning bathroom with extra large shower. A kitchen with brand new cutlery and plates. Well equipped. And everything is done so tastefully and stylishly. Really a beautiful house in a beautiful, quiet and safe environment. The bedrooms are smartly done and have really good, comfortable beds. If I added one thing like that, it might be something for your clothes/bag. Small cupboard with drawers perhaps or a "luggage stand" on which you can rest your suitcase. And maybe a small table between the two single beds. Thank you very, very, very much, it was unforgettable fun for our family, and we will definitely come again.
The place was absolutely gorgeous, and the views are out of this world. The jacuzzi was really a treat, but it does take a couple of hours to heat up as you have to make a fire. I wish there were some toiletries such as soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and so forth. Insect repellent is a must as there are many flies and bugs due to being close to the farm. It would be great to have an axe to chop the wood, as one cannot make a fire with such big pieces of wood, but other than that, it's a great little place.

It is a precious getaway for being alone and relaxed. A perfect, neat little place that is tastefully furnished with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely hide there again.

We had a great time last weekend at Stay @ Koeniesrivier. The cottage is incredibly well appointed, with everything one would need for a getaway, and also very stylish and modern furnished - exactly as the photos suggested. One can also see that a lot of attention has been paid to the finer details (such as gifts on arrival to name an example). We were able to take our dog children with us and really enjoyed exploring the farm with them throughout the day. The cottage itself also offers more than enough privacy. In the evenings we could enjoy a barbecue on the stoep while admiring the sunset and beautiful views of the mountains. A further big plus is the hot tub on the veranda - a lovely way to relax. We will definitely be back again.
