Very neat and clean. Nice stay.
Beautiful beaches within close walking proximity along with abundant penguins and dassies. The cottage had everything you would need. Thoughtfully decorated with very comfortable beds and pillows.
4pm check-in time is unusual; when you are travelling, it catches you off guard, and then you have to occupy yourself for 2 hours until you can check in. Bath on the balcony costs extra to use (I don't understand the concept; it's not even private). Loads of signs threatening to charge you extra if there are too many dirty dishes (seriously?). Shower drain was blocked. Otherwise, it's a very clean and tastefully decorated apartment, geared for a small family as well. Kitchen had all the cutlery you needed. Modern style brick finishes. Comfortable lounge. Ice in the freezer.
It is unusual not to be allowed to check in until 16h00. The provision that the 'economy' room excludes the 'common areas' and swimming pool made me feel like a 'second class' guest. There were no welcoming extras like at other places (eg biscuits, fruit, chocolate). Besides, the milk was already expired by the previous year's date, so I couldn't enjoy my early morning coffee. The one wall plug was not available, and there was almost no hot water in the shower. I wanted to rest, away from my busy practice, but the owner used the time to tell me about her very personal problems, which was not only unprofessional and uninvited, but emotionally taxing. I informed her about it and sent a bill for my service (I am a therapist): she did not respond or apologize. The experience was unpleasant and I left as soon as possible in the morning.
We had a lovely time away and we loved the place and the location.

We've been treated with the most welcoming atmosphere from start-go, even Uno and Caco welcomed us at their home. Helen is available 24/7 for any help you may need, and gave us 5 star treatment from arrival up to departure.The breakfast in bed was amazing, we really appreciated the special treatment.
