The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Koos went out of his way to warm the room up before our arrival, didn't hesitate to assist me with my car troubles, and followed up to see that I was sorted afterwards. Such a gentleman. Evelina was also a star, and the place is so homely with the family-friendly facilities. Thinking of visiting the place again for my mother's birthday!

My stay was a nightmare. I was informed that unit6 was given to a person because they wanted to stay next to their friends. I was offered unit8, which was definitely a downgrade. The furniture and decor were cheap and outdated. There were no tiles on the floors and in the kitchen. There was only one window and one sliding door at the entrance, no ventilation or air-conditioning in the room, and no door or curtain in the bathroom and shower. The unit was secluded away from the main building. We were three couples staying in the unfinished setup, of different ethnicities - coloured, black, and Indian.
It was one of the cleanest places I've ever booked and definitely like the new ad — spotlessly clean. Had a great stay.

The manager Koos was super friendly and obliging. The unit we occupied was very clean with fresh towels and toilet paper supplied on arrival. It was great for our little dog with plenty of space to take him for walks. The ceiling fans worked even when there was loadshedding. All the facilities were well maintained including the sparkling pool. It was extremely hot and the ceiling fans helped cool us a little but the establishment should consider aircons for the future.

The stay was excellent except for minor challenges of electricity.
The caretaker, Koos was amazing. His warm welcome on arrival really left a good first impression of Stay Harties. Throughout the weekend, he checked in and ensured we are good. Everything was as per the pictures as well. Really lovely. The WiFi was the only challenge, but definitely not a deal breaker.

It was raining really hard, and the power went out, but we didn't even notice. There are solar lights and we could still have a nice barbecue under the canopy. Accommodation was very clean and tidy inside. Everything one needs.
Our stay at Stay Harties went pretty smoothly! The staff were very accommodating with whatever was within their control and tried to ensure that the stay was good. The unit was neat and clean with most equipment and more that one could need for a short stay. The unit uses a smart-geyser system whose control is in the bedroom (note that the light emitted is quite sharp at night). The venue is next to a fairly busy road, so every now and then you will hear a vehicle making noise. Note that the area as a whole does not have very good mobile reception or internet access, so it is good to have your own internet with a worthy provider and connect equipment to it yourself. The area also mostly has borehole water, but fortunately there are numerous shops around that sell bottled water.

Needed a getaway with my girls. Viewed its area. The cottage had everything one needs. Made use of the braai which is conveniently next door. The shelter is secure for car parking.

It's beautiful, it's peaceful, but they need to update the pool area a bit and there's too many dogs.
The reception was very good. Neat place with everything needed. Potty food pots will help if the power goes out.
Will advised the owner to put some coffee and tea sachets in rooms and since they've mentioned that their water are not good, they could put some 2 liter bottled water in the fridge for guests. The couches also can be used when one is traveling with kids, not comfortable when used by adults.

Room was nice and clean. Spacious.
The unit was very clean and tidy as it is represented on the web. It has the basic things one needs. Only downside was the loadshedding over the weekend but the lights and the roof fans still worked during the times the power was off which is a plus. The water park which is next to the premises is quite noisy with loud music but at least only during the day. The yard offers a nice playground for children and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The place is nice and quiet also close to shops and facilities however I think they need to clean the apartment thoroughly. The blinds and under the beds was dirty. And the bedding sheets had stains and. Lastly I didn't understand why guests need to pay R150 for daily cleaning of the apartment.
The Guesthouse is situated at the bend and the road does not provide easy entrance coming from Brits side, cars are coming at a high speed and we were almost knocked down by a car that was traveling very fast and even though I indicated that I am turning there was too much hooting for me as if drivers did not understand that I am turning to the right. I think they should ask the municipality to split the road for them. Their name board is also not visible enough.
The service was very poor, they don't change our towels, they don't clean for us, I didn't like the fact that before we checked out they had to come and inspect even the cutlery if we have stolen.
My special thanks to Koos the caretaker, he was always there for us when we need anything as well as Charles he was always concerned about our happiness regarding our stay.
A swimming pool wil add more value as well as back up generator or solar to adres loasdshedding problems.

We had a lovely stay, but I think the place would be better in the summer because the geyser is not hot enough and there was an issue with the electricity tripping pretty often.
Units are equipped for self-catering with everything you need. Silver clean, sufficient quality linen. Peaceful reception, staff available for information but does not invade privacy. Sufficient security measures feel safe. Will definitely use it again and also recommend it.

Then don't put in smart TVs. The children were very unhappy about the WiFi. My WiFi at home is not unreliable.
