The living room has sliding doors leading out to the patio and braai area, which offers lovely sea views. For the colder months, there is a log burning fireplace in the living area.
In addition, the house has an outdoor braai area, an outdoor shower, and covered parking for 1 or 2 cars.
The property is only 10 minutes from the mouth of the Olifants River, which is an ideal site for kayaking, swimming and frolicking. For bird lovers, there are several rare species to spot along the shore. Fishing and lobster diving are favourite pastimes in this area. The nearby Doringbaai boasts a variety of restaurants and a unique wine cellar at the harbour that guests can visit.

Had a wonderful stay. Unit is spacious with a beautiful view. However, DSTV must be paid additionally and a fine is payable if the dishes have not been washed. Breakage deposit was refunded after a week.
Very nice house with a large porch and a nice view.
Our family stayed at Steenbras15 for 4 nights. We enjoyed the village of Strandfontein so much! The view from the veranda is incredibly beautiful, and the house's kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, and more. We will definitely visit the house again!
Well situated, we could look at the ocean, see the sunrise, it was home from home when we got back from working on site all day.
House had everything we needed. We were able to relax nicely, because the dishwasher helped with dishes and the wine fridge to keep the wine nice and cold. Soft towels and beds that almost make you sleep well. House is also close to the little pond which makes it convenient for parents who often have to go play or take children for ice cream. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
