Only stayed over for 1 night. Guest house is located near all shopping centers. Would definitely recommend Steendal.

The owner of the guest house was unavailable for key collection and handover. Furthermore, there was no notification of load shedding and they woke me up at 11:00 pm to turn off my air conditioner.
We specifically used it as an overnighter to Zindwezi and can recommend it, easy to get to and easy to get back on the road. Not a struggle to get out of Pietersburg.

The place has a friendly atmosphere. Delicious breakfast is served and rooms are neat with everything you need.
The room was wonderful and spacious. Emmie made us feel welcome.
Very comfortable rooms with the most beautiful furniture. The mattresses are firm and we slept wonderfully. The big fridge was a big surprise. We would definitely recommend Steendal and stay there again if we are in the area.

For an overnight stay, the guest house was very pleasant. We slept well and everything needed for such a stay was there.

Had a great time with our 4 children & grandchild in this beautiful spacious house. Service was great, extremely friendly & truly a pleasant experience in the Bushveld - nice and relaxing - will definitely be doing it again soon!
I know it was listed but it was not what I had in mind. We had to watch whatever the young lady was watching in the main house. When I arrived, there was only 1 mug and 1 glass in the room even though I booked for 2 people. The same happened at breakfast, only 1 table setting was placed for me and not my partner. Not ideal. Despite that it's clean and well-located.
