I had a wonderful stay in Uanita's beautiful, well-equipped unit. The place is part of their house (shared entrance), but I had total privacy. Uanita is the 'ultimate' hostess; she makes sure that every possible need is addressed. It was so nice to come home at night after a crazy day and find a chocolate on the pillow and other snacks to snack on. (Her buttermilk biscuits are the best!) It's something I didn't expect at all and is definitely not standard at similar accommodations and at this price.

The place is very clean and tidy. You must enter the owner's house to enter the residence. Our car was parked outside (without a gate). (Slightly strange for Limpopo people who have to lock everything). This was the only place we have ever slept where we had to pay to have the room cleaned.

It was the most delightful overnight stay we experienced during our entire trip. Uanita and her husband were incredibly hospitable. The attention to all the little things is perfect and we felt like "old friends". We had our 2 dogs with us and there was even a small gift for them. I would recommend Stellenberg Guest Unit anytime!

Beautiful garden, peaceful surroundings. Close to shopping centers etc. Come and go as we please. There are little surprises everywhere, e.g. every day snacks in the fridge, salty snacks, chocolate on the pillow, nut coffee, carafe of wine, etc. Every day everything is cleaned nicely. Quality toiletries in the bathroom and equally friendly looking after four legged family member while we attended a function.

Cosy and although not really a self-catering, more tea and coffee with a microwave, the tasty unexpected treats, very warm welcome and excellent location made up the 5 star value. Situated in very quiet neighborhood, but within minutes from all of Cape Town. We will definitely be back. A bonus was it being pet friendly and even they got a welcome, tasty treat. The location is convenient, the guest unit is spacious, clean, and has everything you need. The hostess is organised and friendly, from the minute of booking enquiry, she got in touch me with me. The snacks in the room were so unexpected but highly enjoyed, especially the wine and breakfast! The only downside was the outside parking (off-street), but again we did not feel that our car was not safe outside.

Although there was no private entrance and one's car had to stand in the driveway, off street, our host's huge heart and hospitality made up for everything. There was even a gift pack of "bunny treats" to spoil our pet rabbit that travels with us.

I don’t know where to fault the guest room. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Their pets are so cute. We asked for a small breakfast and probably got food for a week which was superb. We had a really wonderful stay at Stellenberg Guest Room. Our hostess, Uanita, was amazing. She spoiled us each day with different treats or touches to our room. During a really cold night we found she’d switched on the electric blankets for us. The fridge was always stocked with fresh milk and nibbles. This was a happy experience for us. Highly recommend this room and Uanita!

We felt at home from the start. Although it was luxurious and beautiful, we could also feel the warmth of the room. It made us comfortable because you felt "at home". Thank you very much for the few extras like yogurt and fresh milk - it proved that she goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. It's a very peaceful area with no rush of vehicles to and fro. We were able to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the day. Had a great sleep and woke up to the fresh air. Thank you very much again.

It was great to stay there. The place was big, very clean and we felt very comfortable. There were delicious rusks for coffee and fresh fruit and juice in the fridge. Uanita was so friendly and we had a lovely chat. The room, bathroom and extra TV room are large and were very private and nobody bothered you. There was also enough space to unpack your bag so that you don't have to live out of a suitcase. There was so many extra things she put in the apartment for us to use. It's really value for money and we will stay there again when we return to the Cape. We have already told others about the place and how well we stayed there.

Stellenberg is truly a "guest room". The cleanliness, detail and pampering in the unit was a nice surprise. The hospitality of Uanita and her family makes you feel like friends. I definitely recommend Stellenberg. The place just doesn't have its own kitchen, which won't be a problem for most people. For us it was somewhat of a problem with a man who is diabetic and can't eat out all the time. We just didn't pay close attention before we booked and the place was really really cute.

I travel quite extensively and not often have I experienced something like this. Uanita and her lovely family went out of their way to make our stay a comfortable one and I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our time there. They catered to our every need and made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. What a bonus that they are also truly pet friendly and absolute animal lovers.
