Beautiful and spacious apartment with use of a beautiful garden with several terraces. Everything well taken care of.

Place is beautifully furnished. The name speaks for the place. There is just a peaceful calm effect. The bed is so cuddly you feel like sinking into it. I definitely recommend the place.

We had a very nice stay at Stiltevrede. Charmaine and her husband received us kindly and went out of their way to make everything comfortable for us. Everything is clean and tidy. Definitely value for money with air conditioning, a full DStv package, beautiful swimming pool, braai area, WiFi and secure parking. I can recommend their place of residence to anyone with a clear heart.

Very clean and neat with all the necessary facilities.
Fully equipped unit in an older house set in lush, manicured grounds. Helpful, pleasant hosts. Very safe area. Secure parking in garage though street is okay too. Would be ideal for a long, self-catering stay.
Quiet area, very safe, excellent location. Very dark apartment, nice terrace, all amenities but not perfectly clean (fridge). What disturbed us: Charmaine came rather sneaky in the apartment via her private backdoor, even when we were sitting on the terrace.

The host couple at Stiltevrede in Upington really make their guests feel at home. Nothing was too much and they really went the extra mile. My brother drove down from Johannesburg and upon his return there were protests. Our host immediately ran outside where we were having a braai to warn him to drive carefully and also tried to determine exactly where the protests were happening! There are brochures in the lounge and they gave us useful info on attractions in the area.
Neat and clean - owners make an effort. Secure parking.
Also sorry for parking because you stop in a row and have to arrange with other guests if you might be coming in late and need to leave early.

The name says it all: peace and quiet. The place is pretty, neat and safe. The hosts (Danie and Charmaine du Toit) are very friendly and welcoming! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go again.
