The layout is perfect and the braai area on the stoep is great.
Just spent one night in transit to Mozambique. Unfortunately we did not have the time to really enjoy the unit as we would have liked, but a very nice unit with everything working well.
We stayed at Stoep 2. All fine. In the internet (website) the numbers like Stoep 2 or Stoep 3 are a bit confusing. Furthermore, there is no view onto the Crocodile River - you can hear it, but you can't see it. Perhaps they should have rugs in the bedroom.
The house was clean and comfortable. Mattresses great for a good night's rest. Hostess nice and helpful.
Bath is very small. Thanks for clean house.
The place is really value for money. Conveniently close to Crocodile Bridge Gate. Very neat house and lovely garden. Good security.
The only problem we had is that it is stated that the unit we stayed in is pet friendly, but did not stipulate that it was friendly to large dogs only! Our Yorkies easily slipped through the palisade fence and disappeared amongst the surrounding bush! That was a bad experience!
Although no specific adjustments were made for wheelchair accessibility, I was able to get around with little effort. A mirror was a problem - in a wheelchair I am too short to see myself. After showering, I put my small chair in - the door opens wide so I could get in with a little help. Dining room table is very close to kitchen cupboards and fridge. The decor, cleanliness, atmosphere inside and outside is really wow! I would definitely recommend them.

The Stoepkafee's staff, reception and the restaurant, were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Our stay was much more than we needed. We now had a good night's sleep! The restaurant has incredibly tasty food and surprises that we didn't expect. You will definitely see us again!
Beautiful accommodation for a family. The kudus and nyalas come to visit on your porch. Stunning rooms, kitchen and braai facilities.

Steenbokstraat was a refreshing experience in Komatiepoort. Every year we travel to Mozambique and rest in Komatiepoort. Steenbokstraat is by far the best accommodation ever in the area.

Was very accommodating, Suzie called me on the Friday to check what time we were arriving, she then left the keys with security for us and they turned on the lights - when we arrived security helped us with our bags offload. Beautiful, neat, big place. The veranda is large and nice to sit there and listen to the running stream, peaceful atmosphere. Lights all around if we came back late, the security opened the gate for us. The view is promising and very safe we could hear the hippos and elephants in the evening. I have to thank Stoep At Steenbok, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely use them again.
This is an outstanding holiday home.
I would recommend the Porch to anyone looking for peace and quiet. It is a beautiful place with everything you need and very, very tidy. We went to enjoy dinner at the restaurant - a delicious plate of food, freshly baked chips and the most delicious steak! Very friendly and hospitable staff and management. Thank you very much, you are great! We will definitely use you again.
It was spacious and clean with stunning garden. The owner also owns a cute restaurant / coffee shop where we had a delicious meal.
We decided on the spur of the moment to visit the Kruger National Park. There was no accommodation available in the Wildlife Park. Landed on Stoep@Steenbokstraat's page and what a wonderful stroke of luck! Elmarie welcomed us with open arms and we were immediately at home! Yes, HOME! The units are beautiful and spacious, with the most beautiful handcrafted wooden furniture! The calmness of the water stream that ripples through under the stoep section gives a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The security is excellent and the location great! Elmarie and "Stoep" - you will see us a lot!
Beautiful, practical, clean and spacious accommodation that I will definitely use again!
