We had a great stay, no problems.
Just a big thank you from all of us from CJM Ministries. We had the time of our lives. Llynell and Debbie, thank you so much for the extra effort you have put in to wait for us when we just could not arrive on time, as well as finding out all about Cape Vidal. One thing about Stokkiesdraai it has the most beautiful view of the Estuary and absolutely breathtaking beautiful sunsets and even some wild life occasionally. The big, beautiful and clean pool was a great way to end the day when having a barbeque, accommodating our big group. We had a lovely time and we will be back.

Relaxing and quiet, property close to restaurants and shops. Monkeys were a bit of a problem as they enter the apartment and vigilance is required.
Staff were friendly. My only problem is that the beds are not made. This is a minus point in my eyes.
It was okay, I was not pleased to know I paid so much for the little we got. I have stayed in much nicer places for less money. And only one bathroom for 7 people is really ridiculous. The TV didn't even work.

Before that, Stokkiesdraai was good with friendly service. It's a comfortable place, very well located with typical "beach house furniture". The children complained about the TV. This is another older type with no DSTV and no WiFi. Both are actually a requirement these days. I would also think that mosquito netting is essential. The place is not comparable to what we had at and at a higher rate.
The place was average, customer service could improve.
First the lady we found there was very rude to us on our arrival. There was no reason for her to shout at us for checking in after the office has closed. We didn't plan to arrive late but it happened what was we supposed to do? Sleep at the reception door?. the place has no security that's a huge risk. the apartment we were booked in the taps were making noise, the same lady that shouted on us she'll come running upstairs that we must close the taps, I quote: "can't you hear the tap is making the damn noise - switch it off", how we were supposed to bath then ? That lady has no respect/manner to other people, she treated us as if she made us a favour by giving us a place to sleep. the rooms has dusty & smelling. linens looks very old & dirty. the whole house had big coakcroaches roaming around. very disappointed.
I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone and would advise you to look elsewhere for a more pleasant experience. The unit is in a terrible condition with extremely old furniture and very old appliances (which are hardly working). There is also no water during the very long loadshedding times. The host is one of the rudest persons I have met, and I hope that I never have to come across her again. She was constantly yelling at us like a barbaric person, and this for merely sitting in the bedroom talking. Overall, we regret our decision to book at Stokkiesdraai, and just like many of the other reviews want to express our disappointment in the worst accommodation experience ever.
Very nice stay was clean and very safe. The reception was first class Debbie went the extra mile to receive us after hours. The pool and braai area were always spotless and available.

It was my first holiday in St Lucia at Stokkiesdraai. It was very nice, forest and sea, saw a lot. Staff very friendly and helpful. Planning to go again Dec 2023. Great place. Thank you Debbie and other ladies.
Very neat and clean, place needs some renovation, overall pleasant, security gate at entrance will make customers feel more comfortable. The fact that my motorcycle, trailer and vehicle were accessible to burglars made me a little uneasy, the unit was very nice clean and tidy, but in need of some renovation. "Keeping Covid Tourism in mind" is probably completely understandable.
Very helpful and quickly helped arrange a boat trip. Stokkiesdraai is walking distance from shops and restaurants.
When there is loadshedding, there is also no water, being 10 people in a house with no water is not pleasant, we talked to management about it and were only told sorry there is no money for generators. The receptionist was also very incompetent and failed, can't chat with her at all. The nets on the windows are all torn in places. The noise from the street makes it hard to sleep and there is no security for cars, not even a tree with a gate. It is also uncomfortably hot when the power is off, there are also not many amenities in the kitchen and the boiler causes the power to trip.
Our accommodation was very dirty, cockroaches lying dead or running around everywhere, cutlery and coffee cups were dirty unwashed when taken out of cupboards, nothing water if loadshedding. Also took a lot of photos of what it looks like. It was said that it is not so dirty that we will get diseases. Very poor customer service, they will never see us again nor will they recommend to anyone. Was told they would pay break deposit in bank but still haven't received anything either.
The blue monkeys were quite a pest.

Very dangerous to use the stove, the plate between the top and oven is rusted through. We tried to use the oven one morning but then realised it was a bad idea. A bit disappointing regarding the water and stove, I suppose they could not do much about the water, but the stove?
Stick twist is sharp, see again.
The mattresses are very uncomfortable, the bath/shower spills on the floor because there is no glass in front. The kitchenware such as glass bowls, etc. very limited. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. There is no roof over the braai and therefore cannot sit outside when it rains.
The units weren't as clean as you would expect and the equipment could be modernised.
Unfriendly hostess. No towels!
Pole twirling is a winner. It's nice and centrally located with friendly service. It's also affordable. Only complaint for perhaps "difficult" guests is the extremely small bathroom/toilet and the age-old stove.
