Great clean and safe unit, my wife and I had a great time. Ideal break from the city, nice campfire and relaxation in the forest with the sounds of nature and the lions nearby. Zifa is an asset and helpful, respects privacy and stands ready for any questions or help. We will definitely visit here again.

We had a great time in the Stone Cottage. The service was excellent and the cottage was spotless. Zefa and Derick had everything ready when we arrived. That evening we sat by the fire and heard the lions roar. Lovely!

Had a great time. Everything was as described. We just couldn't use the TV or functions on it. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will be back. Loved hearing the lions roaring early in the morning and at night. Prime location.

A lovely place to just get away in nature, listening to the sounds of the bush around the fire. There is nothing to do, but that's the point, right? The beds are super comfy and the place was very clean.

Although the facilities inside the 'cottage' are neat, clean and comfortable, and the farm manager made sure we didn't get lost, we were slightly disappointed. The description makes it sound as if the cottage is situated in the tranquility of a 52 000HA farm. This is exactly why I booked it, because the photos and description give the idea that you will be alone in the forest. Unfortunately, there was no mention of permanent residents who live about 20 yards from the site, where nature's 'tranquility' is occasionally interrupted by children making noise and dogs barking. So we stayed away for most of the day, because it was not at all the tranquility we expected. Although there was a gas grill on the porch, we would have loved to have a fire and cozy up (which we couldn't do either). The braai area is a bit below the cottage, so if you wanted to braai, you have to carry all your equipment downstairs, otherwise you will end up walking up and down to the braai area. It's just not practical at all. There is nothing wrong with the service of the people involved, it is just not at all what I expected.
