As a city dweller I enjoyed the wide open spaces listening to the sounds of nature. Elderly persons might have difficulty walking at some parts of the hills.
Mark and Caroline treated us to a warm welcome. The peace and quiet was amazing, the Cottage is fully equipped and our Staffie, Lola, enjoyed the time with us. Will definitely be back.

Caroline and Mark define hospitality and kindness. Communication and reception were exceptionally good. The unit has everything you need and is extremely tidy. It's wonderfully quiet with beautiful sunsets and comfortable walking trails. Definitely something we will do again.
Great pet friendly getaway! Far enough out of town to feel like a break but a short drive from Jozi. Cottages are lovely and private and the kitchen is very well equipped. The friendly Shetland ponies stopped by now and then to visit at the cottage and they were a lovely surprise. I think our dogs are depressed to be back home.
Dogs are welcome. There are enough walking trails. Very peaceful!
It is a very beautiful area and the accommodation is very neat and comfortable.

Beautiful clean and tidy accommodation. Our four Huskies really enjoyed the long walks and river. We will most definitely go back. Caroline and Mark are wonderful hospitable people.
