I would recommend Stonecrop over and over again. So rustic modern, super clean and tidy with attention and pampering in the finest detail. A precious personal "touch" and top notch hospitality. It was an absolute privilege to discover this beautiful place surrounded by paradise.

We enjoyed Stonecrop Lodge so much. For me, it was one of the most beautiful places I've spent the night. We were there for a week and it was just a pleasure for everyone to wake up there every morning. The owners Leonora and Allan were the best. You will not find friendlier people. We originally booked the Moonglow condo for 3 days, but we were upgraded for free to a much more luxurious condo with a balcony because we were on our honeymoon. There were extra candles, flowers and champagne left for us. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and if we are ever in the area again we would not want to stay anywhere else! Every day after washing out, we come back to a neat and tidy unit as if we were walking into a new place. Dishes are washed, coffee, tea and sugar are provided, even the Weber grill on the deck is cleaned every day! We also felt our privacy was respected but not ignored either. They were also able to accommodate us with a laundry service at an affordable price. We can really refer people to Stonecrop Lodge for a comfortable time there in White River.
Stonecrop Lodge made our overnight stay feel like a holiday! The huge garden is beautiful and full of bird sounds (even at night), the bedding is fresh and pure white, and the owners are very friendly. Definitely a good choice to sleep over or stay for the whole holiday as it is so centrally located. A delicious treat.

Our host, Leonora, was extremely accommodating and helpful. At first we only booked for two people, but we kept adding more people, and she made sure that everyone was happy with their rooms. Apartments are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. We will definitely stay over again.

It's a great getaway area for single travelers, couples, families and friends to relax and get some rest from the hustle and bustle. It's peaceful, clean, safe and nature is beautiful.
Housing unit is of the best quality. Beautiful comfortable furniture and decor. Sleep well. The beautiful garden and view of the garden area is excellent. Braai grief is fantastic on the stoep. All the candles everywhere for a warm atmosphere and the hammock by the fishpond is breathtaking. Sorry our stay was too short. Wanted to be there even longer.
Very big and tidy inside, kitchen is fully equipped even with milk we forgot! Have a good time outside on the stoep with a Weber ready for the coals and some meat! Definitely the best accommodation I have ever used in the Lowveld!
We slept very well. It was as advertised on the web. Beautiful and very peaceful in the forest.
What made a particular impression were the little special things in the apartment - bookshelf full of books, snacks in the kitchen, candles, night light, cutlery and everything needed for a barbecue. Bathroom with everything imaginable - like earplugs, etc.! Was impressed with tasteful decor - truly a ''touch of class''!
The accommodation gets almost full marks. However, I would only add an area where you can comfortably sit and read that is private and maybe a braai area to the unit.
How nice it was to visit such friendly people! And the rooms are really nice, and of the highest quality - we really enjoyed the chocolates!
