9 guests' feedbackThe place was perfect for us. The setting is beautiful, the dam was lovely to swim in, and the outdoor space was perfect for games - it had everything we needed. Will 100% come here again! Make sure you remember to bring some soap or something for the showers!
Beautiful place and really unique. It was clean. The children really enjoyed the donkeys. We enjoyed the outdoor barbecue. The evenings were so quiet and had a great night's rest. Would definitely recommend StoneHouse Stables!
Kitchen well equipped, neat bathrooms as there are 2. Great outside area over looking the surrounding Mountains. Will definitely go back again. Great location, friendly people, worth the visit to Stanford.
The house is large, well equipped and has a awesome lawn for games.
The booking flowed very easily and the contact point (Bianca) was very friendly and helpful. The access was well marked and the road directions brought us precisely without any problems. On arrival we were received very kindly and the house was shown to us - and how the gas geyser works, which paid off all the time! The facilities are very well laid out and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The time we went was quite cold, but the house itself was warm and comfortable, especially if you have a fire in the indoor lounge area. We went for a walk on the farm, fed the donkey carrots, and were invited to see how the cows were milked. We can confidently recommend StoneHouse Stables if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It was a break for the soul and an unforgettable fun weekend.
The house is spacious and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful green fields, hills and mountains. Sunlight streams through the many windows. There's a rustic element - cooking with gas, fires at night for warmth - but the house is solid, clean and well-maintained. Take note: it can get very cold in winter.
Location is very nice. A bit cold in winter but plenty of fire places. Fire hearth inside did not draw smoke well and the stable became full of smoke. Lovely hot water and big bathrooms. Everything was nice and clean. The donkey's shoes need to be looked after, he was very friendly and likes carrots. Our dog really enjoyed the spacious grass. We also slept well.
Neat and private. Excellent value for money. I will definitely use this accommodation again.
