There seemed to be some confusion when I checked in, even though I received confirmation from the host when changes were made. All in all, it was still a very pleasant stay.
We were 4 adults and 1 of 10 years old, family weekend away, awesome stay, friendly staff and Bella and Yoco were the highlight of our trip.

Children really enjoyed the friendly dogs and swimming pool. However, the double bed mattress we slept on in the family room was not very comfortable and also made noise all the time when turning over. Other than that, it was very nice and enjoyable.

Accommodation was neat, although rooms were a bit warm. Fortunately there was a lovely, cool swimming pool. The breakfast the next morning was excellent! We also received good advice at the lodge about restaurants and activities in town.

Very easy to find the guest house from the N2. Lovely warm rooms in the cold winter months. The hostess is very helpful. The breakfast served to us is delicious.
A very interesting place. It is safe to walk around, has good restaurants and lots of places to stay. We want to go again.
Very pleasant... Rooms just very dark and front steps very uncomfortable and steep.
All was great but the bathroom door did not have a handle and there was no way to close it. It was opening up all the time and we had to block it with a folded newspaper (!) every time someone wanted to use the toilet. It was very disappointing and perhaps alright for a 1-star-establishment but not for 3 stars. It's a minimum requirement to have a working door in the bathroom so that people can at least have some privacy.
We weren't prepared for all the stairs, but the staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, but lacked shelves in the shower. The meals were good.
