The décor in this charming thatch home combines inherited antiques and natural textures for an eclectic blend of classic Cape and rustic romance.
There are 5 bedrooms, 4 with en-suite bathrooms and 1 with an open-plan bathroom. 3 of the rooms are furnished with double beds, one with twin beds and the main bedroom has a king-size bed.
The fully equipped kitchen begs for social meal preparation with a living area leading out to the lawn in front. On the other side of the U-shaped villa is a more formal lounge also with doors folding back to allow seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Between these is the dining area with seating for 8.
The entire villa is designed in a way that lets the outdoors in, with doors opening onto the lawn or courtyard, or swimming pool, and easy flow from one to the other. There are patios with dining tables and outdoor furniture on either side of the villa allowing for glorious al fresco meals in true holiday style.
Other amenities include housekeeping, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. DStv, DVD player, music system, braai, secure parking, alarm, and access control security. (Swimming pool and fish ponds are not netted or fenced, note for small children).
For German visitors, we have satellite German television with 20 channels and 6 German radio stations.

Madri, our host, was amazing and looked after us well, always available if we needed anything.
What a lovely place! We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it. It was a wonderful few days! Very friendly and helpful staff and everything went smoothly.
We are warmly welcomed with the most delicious home-made bread. The owners and staff's service is outstanding. Upon arrival, everything was explained to us clearly, as well as extra information regarding the environment. So much caring, owner wanted to know beforehand if they have to put nets over the pool and fish pond for our toddler, which was then arranged. Our toddler was also accommodated in a room with toys and books, which he enjoyed very much. Strand Beach Lodge is beautifully furnished, kitchen well equipped and we could relax. The pool, Jacuzzi and astro track make this accommodation a unique experience. We enjoyed the sea view and hiking trail. Security with peace of mind. We will definitely booking at Strand Beach Lodge again.
The whole family enjoyed themselves and there was a lot to do for the weekend. The place was clean and everything was just perfect. We will book it again.
What an amazing experience. Sitting back putting your feet up, having a drink and chat with friends, one just drifting around in the pool, another screaming from the Jacuzzi upstairs. The sports lovers in the cricket nets practicing their cover drives. Everything was perfect. Communication with the guesthouse were efficient. Definitely a 10/10 for communication. Location was perfect. Seaview rooms. In walking distance from shopping centres and other facilities. Security. Very friendly and professional bunch. Always concerned for your safety and they are always visible. Accommodation was perfect. We were a party of 8 adults and there were more than enough room for all of us. House was cleaned every morning which gave us more time to relax and just enjoy our temporary heaven. I would definitely, God willing, look into visiting this lodge again.
We were received incredibly hospitably and everything was explained to us. The most beautiful proteas was placed in the TV room for us. You will not find a more suitable place for a large family. There is plenty of space so that everyone still has their own space. Truly a place to recommend. We were 8 adults and 2 children and never were we in each other's space. Got amazing service.
Strand Beach Lodge makes you feel so at home, but also shares some of the owners' adventures an life experiences with you. It was a unique experience. The place, service and complex deserves only praise.

The house has a warm family feel that makes anyone feel immediately at home. There is a lot for children to do and our family really enjoyed it. Fantastic child peaceful home and surroundings. Had a really nice stay and felt more at home every day. Will book again anytime for our family.
