The weekend was pleasant. The host received us well and made us feel at home. A nice place to relax and the environment is suitable for children too. The beach is located nearby.

Thanks Abdulah for your friendly and helpful reception and guidance despite our dissatisfaction with a number of issues - this was a plus. We are not in general moaners but we feel that the following must be conveyed. The unit is very, very basic and I suppose for the price expected. The location and views are spot-on though and safety good behind the large bunch of access keys to carry around. Apart from hanging space for clothing in bedroom, no racks in the cupboard? The very cramped bathroom was a real negative with a number of things really needing fixing and/or replacing - bath drain plug not shutting off to draw bath water, front cover to bath loose and becomes dislodged, show curtain very skimpy with a flimsy rail, shower head with very shoddy attachment through the ceiling. The kitchen sink plugs are also leaking fast to the point of having to top-up the water drawn and one even with a poor fix? The sleeper couch is rickety but for the small kids it was ok - I don't know if that is so for adults? Then a very strange and a totally unacceptable situation - we booked and paid for 4 persons (2 adults and two small kids) to sleep and use the bathroom in the unit. Upon conveying our dissatisfaction to Abdulah, the 'Utilities' apparently did us a favour by also providing full bedding for the sleeper couch but we had to make do with only 2 bathroom towel sets.

There were unexpected charges added after the booking was confirmed. Room was very basic with just a bed and bedside lamps, the closet in the bedroom had no shelves, the bathroom was cramped, with dirty finishes and water leaking on the floor with shower. There was not enough bedding for the sofa bed.

Think generally place is not up to standard. Security is good, but not a pleasure to go in and out of the complex. No braai facilities.
