Neat, clean and spacious. Theme is unique and so much detail has been given to even the smallest details, with many extras. Hostess and husband are friendly and so helpful. Hot tub in the hangout is a winner. We had a pleasant stay here.
The house was so beautiful and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area, beautiful white linen on all the beds, electric blankets and heaters. We received enough wood for the hot tub and fireplace and when we got there, the hot tub was already heated for us. Wendy, your hospitality was top-notch, very friendly and also willing to help. You went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. This was definitely the perfect winter getaway destination. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family and I'm definitely going back. Thanks a million.
Wow, from informing the host the time of arrival up to departing was just stunning. Her approachable and professional behaviour is commendable. Will definitely book again. Accommodation atmosphere was tip top.
Upon our arrival Wendy took me through the house, the house was smelling so fresh, so neat and tidy, we got so much more than expected from treats in each bedroom to condiments in the kitchen, fresh water, complimentary wine, a hot tub ready to relax in and so much more. For me personally, it was the little touches around the house art, and beautiful plants everywhere everything was just amazing and inviting. Last but not least I needed assistance and Wendy immediately assisted me and even told me she will remind me again — oh and very important, load shedding wasn't a concern at all as the place has an inverter. I would recommend anyone to go and enjoy a stay at Strand stay worth spending each penny.
My family and I really enjoyed staying there. It was like our own little house by the sea. It was very clean and tidy. Wendy was very friendly and helpful, a woman with a heart of gold. Wonderful braai area and the house was very comfortable with lots of space. I would stay there again anytime.
Upon arrival, my friends and I were received warmly by Wendy, the owner. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance from the beach and restaurants and coffee shops. The house was immaculate and neat. Various artworks in the house contributed to the relaxing aesthetic of the house. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. I was very impressed with the fact that we could make use of the homegrown wide variety of herbs for our cooking, as advised by Wendy. Another important to make was the house was well equipped during load shedding. Highly recommended, thanks once again Wendy for your excellent hospitality.
Wendy received us very kindly and the special detail in the unit surprised us and made us feel welcome. The separate braai room and the hot tub were an absolute bonus. We will certainly recommend the place and visit there again ourselves.
Our visit was very pleasant. The facilities are very good, and we enjoyed the hot tub the most. Beds were very comfortable and we like the white linen (preferred). The accommodation offers games (cards, dominoes etc.) The host has provided us with wood, and has already heated the hot tub for us to use. The braai facilities are top-notch. Overall we really enjoyed it and would love to stay there again.
