We were received very kindly by Piet and Marinda. The place is very neat and very well equipped. Beautiful garden and we enjoyed the braai facilities. We are not inconvenienced by load shedding as they have provided adequately. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and we will stay there again.

We were received very kindly by Pieter and Marinda. The apartment was extremely neat and very well equipped. Sufficient provisions were made for load shedding so that we could still cook and were not sitting in the dark at all when the lights went out. I would definitely recommend this stay. Close to the main road in residential area of Wilderness but not really noisy. Well equipped with accessories as well as DSTV. Private entrance and parking right in front of unit. Would recommend for single persons or small family. Does have its own WiFi.

Tidy.
The little house is self contained and very clean and tidy. It is secure, and you have the sole use of a sizeable piece of the garden. It is well-equipped, and the hosts are quietly helpful and friendly, but never intrusive. We were given the use of space in the garage to store our bicycles safely, and the rides around the area are safe and give good exercise. My wife and I love nature, and happily recommend Strandloper to a couple or a small family who want what the Garden Route offers: sun, sea, peace and beauty.

Our visit at Strandloper was truly a festival. The unit was very clean and tidy and has everything you need. Piet and Marinda go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable and Marinda even baked unicorn cupcakes for our daughter's birthday. Our time there was a festival. Piet's knowledge about the forest and surrounding area and animals taught us new things and allowed us to see new places.

The unit has everything one needs, but might consider a bigger geyser, as only 1 person can take a shower, then the others have to wait quite a long time to take a shower as well.

We had a great stay. The location is perfect.
This accommodation is in an ideal central position for those wanting to explore the Wilderness area. The size was perfect for two single female guests and the access and security measures made us feel confident. The hosts were welcoming and were willing to share their extensive knowledge of the local area, drives, walks and bird hides, so that we knew which were safe to go to and which should be put at the top of our priority list. The 7 passes route makes for a lovely drive and the walks and hides in the National Park all proved to be rewarding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt well looked after by our hosts.

The van Zyl's made us feel at home upon arrival. It was especially the container of milk (for the coffee) which was a blessing in disguise after the long drive. The accommodation was clean, tidy, well equipped and central to explore the area. We had a great time and will go back again, it's value for money.
This place needs a washing line or rack. Shower floor of shiny tiles on which one slips easily. Otherwise we had a lovely stay at Strandloper with its warm friendly people. Would love to stay there again.
