There is a heated swimming pool, supertube, putt-putt course and a bar with a view of the swimming pool. There are also 2 function venues which can accommodate either 100 or 40 people, respectively.
The covered pool only heats up as much as the sun allows (never more than lukewarm) since it is heated with solar panels. It will be cold on overcast days.
The Jacuzzi needs to be booked beforehand as it takes up to 4 hours to heat up. It is free over the weekend and on holidays, but will carry an extra fee for mid-week stays.
The farm is home to a variety of birdlife and fauna such as impala, blesbuck and sable. There is a small dam in which guests can fish on a catch-and-release basis. Guests can explore nature walks on the premises. Please request the key at reception to gain access to facilities.

Our vacation was great and we enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the Wi-Fi. Throughout our stay, we had a network connection inside Oak cottage, but when we went to the pool, the Wi-Fi was good because we were nearby the office.
Very nice and clean place, will definitely go again. Only problem is I booked for a place that can accommodate 3 adults but there was only 1 double bed. My 19 year old daughter (adult) had to sleep on a regular couch (not a sleeper coach). Nor was it said to bring her bedding. The place is not suitable for 3 people, sorry!

There really is something for everyone to do. From swimming, supertube, pit pit, pool, fishing and jacuzzi. The restaurant and bar are well stocked and their food is mouth-wateringly delicious. Can't wait to go again.

Although we only stayed overnight and did not use any of the facilities available, our experience was very pleasant. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and tidy. The self-catering unit was very well equipped with everything needed. The standard is of high quality and it's a real shame we couldn't have stayed longer. Safety is also really very good.

We were only there for two nights to see what it was like with a view to staying longer at some stage. We think we might, but will look for a cottage with a better view - the shady trees are very nice, but they do block the view if that is what one wants. We appreciate how quiet it could be, and preserving the quiet was emphasised in the information book, and we looked forward to that, but for the one whole day we were there the noisy leaf blower was in use all morning and into the afternoon. One could not get away from the noise, and it rather spoiled the day.

Owners did not inform us about load shedding times after we asked. Bed very old and high. No mats on the bed. Also had to ask for clean towels.

We had a lovely time. We stayed in the tent houses which were very nice and well equipped. Important to know, the tents are almost next to each other so privacy should not be expected. And the man-made pond is the size of two standard swimming pools. It can be an awfully nice place in the summer because there is a lot more to do. People are friendly at Sugarbush. It is the level of service in the surrounding area that seriously lacks attention, which makes it unpleasant. The lawless drivers in Rustenburg are a serious concern.

We enjoyed ourselves, the place is clean, staff friendly though my son is afraid of dogs ,so he was a bit unsettled but he enjoyed the place.
The place was excellent from start to finish. You can't get cleaner and neater - it feels like you are the first guests to stay in the unit. Raasblaar is definitely recommended for a romantic getaway such as Valentine's Day and one evening was definitely too short to take full advantage of everything. The hot tub in the unit is an absolute bonus.

It was a lovely few days. The resort is beautiful and still looks brand new. The nature is so beautiful and it was such a bonus when the group of blesbucks ran down the game wire to the pond right next to our place at sunset. The lovely stoepie with the built-in braai was so delicious and we farmed there until late at night. We definitely recommend the resort. An oven for grilling would be a bonus and for us very short guys the height of the microwave was very difficult to handle the hot bowls. But it's not a big problem because you make a plan. Just a hint.

All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Accommodation was comfortable and units are equipped with everything needed. During our first two days of stay, the resort was very quiet, but by Friday, a large number of guests arrived by minibuses who did not in any way disturb the management's internal rules. Management's personal actions were ignored and there was loud commotion until 04:00 in the morning. Recommend that stricter vetting be applied during booking.

I have tried several times to get a seat at the place and it was always full. This time I got a place at short notice. We were pleasantly surprised with the place. The unit was luxurious and very clean. The people were very friendly and that in itself was a plus. The place has everything one is looking for. Cold pool, warm indoor pool, pond to catch fish, place to walk even saw some goats, small shop, restaurant, a nice cozy pub. There is even a chapel and a hall for any gathering. The people who were there are all people of the heart. The people across from us were having a party and they were asking everyone around them if they could play some music. They played the most beautiful music. I have to single out one person and that is Ruben. He has been everywhere and nothing is too much trouble for him. "Thumbs up" young man. I will never go back to the same place again but you will see me again. It was very nice!

Sugarbush Country Hill Cottages, especially the Raasblaar unit is very highly recommended! It comes with air con and a Jacuzzi and a fully fitted out kitchenette with outstanding interior decor. The service is really great with rooms being cleaned daily and makes for a very pleasant getaway. The staff are very helpful! They have an entertainment area which includes a snooker and table-tennis table as well as a bar and swimming pool. All round our stay was a very enjoyable one! Thank you.

Great place, very clean!
It would have been so nice if the room we stayed in had an oven in it. We were a bit limited with the food that one could make.
The only major problem was the chickens. The chickens sleep in the trees next to the cottages and from 3 o'clock in the morning you cannot sleep any further because the chickens making a terrible noise.
Die accommodation was clean, tidy and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed by stay.
Would definitely recommend Sugarbush to anyone wanting to spend some quality time in that vicinity. Thank you Lucinda for the upgrade to Raasblaar, what a treat. Does get quite hot this time of the year, so were thankful for the air-conditioning in the bedroom.

Neat, clean, cozy place.
The kitchen has all the essentials, although a sharp knife was missing. The beds are terribly hard and definitely not very comfortable for someone of normal weight (60-100kg). Information about the environment would have been appreciated, e.g. walking routes/walkways, attractions and restaurants. Staff did not know/provide the environment.
If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, Sugarbush Hill is a great destination. Units and beautiful and modern with mostly everything you would require. Property is well kept and staff is friendly and very helpful.

Accommodation is offered in a choice of 15 self-catering stone cottages, each with access to their own parking area and braai facilities. The cottages boast fully equipped kitchens, private patios and stunning views of the mountains.
There is a heated swimming pool, supertube, putt-putt course and a bar with a view of the swimming pool. There are also 2 function venues which can accommodate either 100 or 40 people, respectively.
The covered pool only heats up as much as the sun allows (never more than lukewarm) since it is heated with solar panels. It will be cold on overcast days.
The Jacuzzi needs to be booked beforehand as it takes up to 4 hours to heat up. It is free over the weekend and on holidays, but will carry an extra fee for mid-week stays.
The farm is home to a variety of birdlife and fauna such as impala, blesbuck and sable. There is a small dam in which guests can fish on a catch-and-release basis. Guests can explore nature walks on the premises. Please request the key at reception to gain access to facilities.
