We had a nice stay. Have to enter before 14h00. It was ready already at 12:00 for us and very friendly reception. Also arranged for breakfast and it was also very polite. Just would like to know where one would have eaten if it had rained, because the breakfast place is an open stope.

The room and premises were clean and tidy. The check-in and check-out process was perfect. The breakfast was tasty and enough, and they put a lot of effort into everything. The bed slept very well, but the pillows were too hard and too soft. I would suggest tweaking the phone etiquette of the staff a bit, although they were still very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Suikerbosrant and would like to stay there again in the near future.

The rooms are beautiful and delightful. We were there with our grown children for a wedding. The staff gave us earlier access on request so we could prepare in time for the wedding. Very late at night there was some noise, but even that didn't detract from our experience. The owner also apologized for that and we are very satisfied with the stay. I use you because I like to do business in Afrikaans. The website should perhaps state that the owners are indeed Afrikaans, but the staff do not understand Afrikaans.
Everything was very well organized. I like the code/remote system. The forest kitchen needs some attention. Fridge in the forest kitchen - it would be nice if there was a fridge just for guests' use. Showers are clean and tidy. The most beautiful garden with air plants and well maintained.

We were a bit wary about the area at first but then felt very safe with good security. The unit was well equipped and spacious with a porch in front. The gardens were beautiful and the service was very good.

The apartment was wonderfully large and comfortably furnished. There were only 3 of us in the apartment so it was comfortable and well appointed so here and there maybe a mattress that wasn't suitable for us, but the mattresses we slept on were excellent. A big plus is the fact that you don't know about load shedding because they have support there. A wonderful filling breakfast was provided at extra cost which is well worth it. Als was great, all that bothered my husband was the parking was a problem, especially if you have a big vehicle you struggle a bit.

We had 2 fans in the room and it was still very hot. I believe an aircon would have done wonders for us. The place is very neat, clean and well laid out. Would definitely recommend the accommodation and book again.

Marietjie kept us up to date with need to know information before our arrival which made checking in a breeze. The romantic setting of the room is beautiful. Sitting on the balcony with a sundowner or an early morning cup of coffee overlooking the garden was tranquil.

We chose Suikerbosrant B&B to stay over after we had a Christmas function nearby, instead of driving home late at night. It was perfect for what we needed and the service was amazing and friendly.
We will go there again.
The hostess was very accommodating with requests and helped us where she could. Our room was well furnished and the veranda had a lovely and beautiful view of the plot. There were little things out of place here and there but, as I say, the hostess made sure that everything was sorted and made our stay very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were nice but the guest house was not accommodating. I still paid the old price. Asked if I could use the room a few hours earlier for my husband to get ready for our wedding. We would have to pay R800 to make it possible because his consequence would also be there. I then had to ask for another guest house and they were accommodating about checking in earlier at no extra charge. It wasn't that pretty though and 3 times the distance from our venue so it wasn't a nice experience.

The landscape and scenery are breathtakingly beautiful. The unit (2) was fully equipped with everything you need for a weekend stay. Very spacious unit with massive bed in the master bedroom and 2 3/4 beds in the living area. Breakfast was delicious. We were a family of 5 with a baby under a year old and experienced the stay more than pleasant. Would recommend anytime.
Chalet is spacious with comfortable beds. My kids especially loved Bulla and can't wait for us to book again to see him. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We were just looking for overnight accommodation for a Saturday night, we were 8 adults and 4 children between 7 months and 12 years. Marietjie accommodated us so well, the rooms were very comfortable and you could see that a lot of effort had been put into them. Norman, the security guard was so friendly and helpful, we didn't check in until late at night. Breakfast the next morning was top notch and very cozy. Really friendly service, tidy and more than value for money!
All I can say is: wow. The rooms were incredibly neat and cozy. And the host and hostess were absolutely fantastic (and so were the dog kids)! This is definitely the best guest house we have ever stayed at.
The hospitality of Marietjie and Johan cannot be described. The staff Filistus and Norman are very helpful and Filistus' breakfast was great. Then the accommodation one could not ask for neater. It really was an incredible weekend. Done checking when we can go again.

Out of the city hecticness, very relaxed venue and romantic.
The garden flat we stayed in as a family was very pretty and neat. We could take a lovely warm bath or shower after a long day of travelling and the kids could watch a bit of TV as well. There are braai facilities and an oven. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning to travel further, but I'll recommend them anytime!
