When we arrived we were given another space. It was a much bigger place than we booked. It positively surprised us. The space needs more attention to cleaning, but everything we needed was there. Ericka understands her business! Very friendly and the food was better than restaurants. The potholes to the place from Ermelo are ugly, as Ericka warned us.
Had a great time on the farm. If you want to rest well after a long drive, this is just the place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rondavel. Its quite spacious and well-equipped. They also have a large function venue on the premises, great for parties, weddings, etc. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, catering to our every need.

We relaxed, threw meat on the coals and visited the Jericho and Morgenstond dams for an afternoon trip.
I needed a place to stay; Suikerbosskuur was very well priced. Comfortable and clean. The owner's (Ericka) hospitality was wonderful, even checking up on me after I had left to see how I had slept and whether everything was ok.
The place just gets into your heart, it's so beautiful and the surroundings are beautiful. Upon arrival, I am simply offered a free breakfast for the next morning. Everything in the place is in order and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend any person to visit there.

The cottage is very homely with antiques and spotless clean. The hospitality was extraordinary. Although I booked self-catering Ericka brought a homemade breakfast with egg and beacon, yogurt and juice. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful with a view to the forest and grass. It is a lovely place to stay, Erika made me feel very welcome and the dogs are very friendly and peaceful. I would definitely visit again when I'm on my way to Sodwana. The area is beautiful to drive through. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped and the design of the house is very clever. I enjoyed the nice and big fridge as I had a lot of food with me. The quietness on the farm was wonderful to experience and I enjoyed looking at the stars. You really have privacy but the house is close enough so you feel safe, especially me as I was there alone.
