It is a nice, neat unit. I didn't check to see if there was Wi-Fi - one assumes every place has Wi-Fi - however there was no Wi-Fi. I would recommend it as there is already fiber laid. It wasn't just a holiday for me - I had to deal with emails which were a problem.
Summer Place is a quiet and peaceful place right in paradise. The staff were friendly, the place is clean and tidy, what more could one ask for. We will definitely go back.

The place is surely the closest to the beach for convenience. Especially with the kids coming and going. House is neat, clean and everything works. Not always practical but because the location is so good you look past it. Honeymoon's 2nd bedroom can get quite hot, there is only a sliding door with no windows or air conditioning, just a standing fan.
Service was great. We had a great stay in Summer Place. We only suggest that bedding/sheets be replaced with white. The existing ones are already slept through and colorful. White bedding feels fresh and clean and new. Furthermore, the service was excellent and the place very tidy. Wonderful bathroom.
Summer Place, specifically the Paradise unit is lovely.
I would just like to report on my recent stay at Summer Place. It could not have been nicer. Eric was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Great guy. Yvonne was also excellent for the speedy and thorough cleaning daily. All in all the place is spotless, all appliances perfect, peaceful and quiet. Fantastic views. I look forward to my speedy return. Keep up the good work!

Summer Place is so well located and is so nice close to the beach. We really enjoyed it and even though the weather wasn't good we still enjoyed Big Brother a lot. It is ideal for two people who want to get away and rest. We would only recommend Wi-Fi for the people who still have to work in the evenings. Other than that, there is nothing wrong. It was a wonderful 10 days.
We were spoiled with cleaning services. Eric and Yvonne were there very regularly to ensure that everything was in order and clean. All Covid rules were abided by.
This place is perfect. The beach is just below this place and rooms are perfect. They treated me and my spouse very well, especially the guy called Eric and we will visit soon.
Paradise unit has a very nice view. We had a great stay and rested. Eric, the caretaker, welcomed us very kindly and made us feel at home. Thank you for the clean and beautiful unit. To relax and break away from the busy city, go to Summer Place. Nice sea view and really just a few steps and you are on the beach.

Very friendly staff. Felt very safe. But the size of the unit is small and not comfortable for more than 2 people during the evenings.

Great service from Eric and team. Braaiers are a bit small and the bed needs to be replaced in paradise suite. Full DSTV package would also be nicer than the current package.
Summer Place is very neat. The place is well maintained. Umzumbe is an ideal place for a peaceful holiday.
The place has amazing views but the linen and matress should be changed. The shower should get a door, no curtain at the moment and the water flows over the floor and we couldn't shower the first night.

The Honeymoon suite has an awesome view of the ocean and we will recommend to any guest to book their Holiday/Honeymoon with Summer place. Nice spacious and very clean.
The Big Brother facilities were perfect for a week's break from a busy life. The walking distance to the sea is so convenient. And the service from the staff was great, we will definitely come again. All criticism that is not pleasant was that Summer Place fixed the roof of the building in front of us during the week we were there. So the chopping and welding was not something one wanted to hear during one's vacation there. I hoped that the owners could have communicated this to us in advance.
The staff was absolutely excellent! Eric went out of his way to make us feel welcome and if we needed anything. The kitchen cupboards really needs to be looked at, broken. The TV in the room did not work (permanently stuck). A proposal to please. ensure that the most necessary utilities are in the kitchen in the future. Tin-opener and braai-tongs. We were really impressed that the braai was cleaned every day. Thanks Eric. Finally, the distance to the beach is not far but for older people it is really a problem. I was assured that Summer Place is the beach and walking distance. Yes walking distance, but takes a lot from the body of a person over 70. Take into account that it's a steep walk and it should be mentioned to prospective guests. Otherwise it was really good and had a good rest.
I have sent photos of this venue to LekkeSlaap, it is so run down and dirty. I would definitely not recommend this venue.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The view was fantastic. The suite is very nice and comfortable. Eric and Pretty very helpful and friendly. Eric is always there to see if we need anything. Accommodation convenient with a beautiful view. Everything in the kitchen worked and we were happy about the bath and the shower since we have grandchildren.

Mike's Cottage is at Bill's Place, 3 houses from Summer Place, we were not informed about this at all. We were impressed with our stay at Summer Place! On arrival it seemed as if they were hardly expecting us, the unit was quite clean, there were no dish cloths or dish soap. Only 1 tea towel that has never been washed or changed. Our bedding has never been washed or changed, as stated in the terms and conditions. Bedding is already old and washed, think they can pay attention to it. There was a mattress for our little girl, but no extra linen or bedding! The staff, Dought and Pretty were very helpful and helped where they could. The sea view is amazing!
Location is perfect. Apartment large, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Hospitality was perfect. Private path down to beach made it very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again. Many thanks to the owner and his family for their hospitality and kindness.
It was one of the most beautiful views of the sea I have experienced in a long time. The management of the place is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back to Summer Place again and definitely tell our friends about the place.

Although the view is heavenly, the facilities are outdated, run down and untidy. The owners need to upgrade very urgently.
The location is to isolated, one feels scared there.
