This place is perfect for young families looking for a secure holiday apartment close to the beach with lots of amenities and close to shops and restaurants if needed.
Ideal for family holidays. Centrally located with easy access to all amenities and commercial businesses. Great location for sea boat owners and anglers.

Eventually! A holiday apartment that looks exactly like the photos. We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Place 36. The view is beautiful. The unit is well equipped, clean and tastefully furnished. Within walking distance of shops and amenities and just a short drive away from most swimming beaches in the area. Summer Place 36 offers incredible value for money. We will visit there again soon.
Place is very beautiful, the view is indescribable. Just one suggestion, a security gate especially at the front door would be good.
There were one or two mistakes with the kick-in but nothing that I couldn't sort out myself with the excellent help of Rane. This is my 3rd booking at Summer Place 36 and every time Rane is available and willing to help with any questions and/or help needed. Summer Place 36 remains our first choice for accommodation on the South Coast.
The beach was a walking distance. The pool was lovely and well heated.
Unit is well priced, stocked with good quality fittings & furniture throughout. Great sea views & in walking distance to all amenities.
The place was beautiful, clean and a place to relax. Quiet, well secured and beautiful views. Excellent for kids to play and beautiful, peaceful, long walks on the beach.
Patio set on the porch is rotten and needs to be replaced. Some furniture needs cleaning. Furthermore, it is a very nice unit. Thank you very much.
The tumble dryer did not work. The bathroom door was not working, got stuck in the bathroom 2 times. Some of the chairs on the porch were rusty and broken and could not sit on them. For safety, it was great that there was security walking around at night, but we never had the courage to leave our front door open because there is no security gate, nor burglar bars in front of the windows where someone can't get in In today's time, one cannot take chances. The awning's plates were loose and there was one lying on the porch that cut my father's toe open twice in the evening. Furthermore, the kitchen was well equipped and we could easily have made food. The beds slept well and had enough pillows. The sofas in the living room have already been put through a bit.
Living room set pathetic and dirty. Tumble dryer broken. No inventory available, but deposit is charged.

Nice sound of waves during the night with sea view, swimming pool nice and clean at all times, seeing security with his torch at night feeling safe, shopping complex nearby.

Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R1500 is payable directly to the property.Check-in/check-out details
House rules
- Please note that the admin fee is included in the quote.- The refundable breakage deposit fee is payable 2 weeks before arrival and is not included in the rate.
- The reservation agreement that will be sent to the client after the deposit was paid must be filled in and sent back before arrival. No keys will be released without the necessary documentation returned to the host.
- The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days after departure, less any deductions for breakages.
- Should the property be damaged either wilfully or not, by negligence or not, by yourself or any other, you agree to pay for the said damages if it exceeds the amount held via the breakage deposit.
- Should you arrive at the property and find that there are damages, the onus is upon you to inform the host immediately.
- The breakage deposit will be held in trust and released to the bank account nominated by yourself.
- Please remember to email the host your account details.
- Please ensure that the outstanding balance reflects in the host's bank account 7 days prior to arrival.
- Please do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the unit. Failure to comply with this request will result in eviction with no refund and no notice period.
- No smoking is allowed inside any of the units, flats or houses. Should you smoke in the house you will lose your breakage deposit in full.
- If a cleaning service is needed it can be arranged prior to arrival, at an additional cost.
- Cleaning services are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
- We cannot be held liable for any losses or inconvenience to tenants caused by an act beyond our control. In the event of any appliance being out of order we cannot be held liable for the replacement thereof.
