7 guests' feedbackInfested with bats. Could not sleep. When I complained, it was said to me that bats are part of nature.
The unit was unclean when we arrived, a pile of rubbish was still lying by the back door which the cleaners had forgotten to take out. There were dead flies in the plates when I took them out of the cupboard to eat. Not enough scoops were provided and a few extra coffee mugs would also help. There is no cell phone reception in the house and we also struggled to get reception the next day (Saturday and the day of my mother-in-law's funeral) to let friends know where to drive to find us. I also couldn't get through the directions that Mark sent me the day before. (I understand that the cell phone reception is not the responsibility of the owner, but it was a problem to give directions to the other people).
Affordable. Great service. Management very accommodating in assisting with extras.
Very nice and clean, it's a beautiful world and easy to find.
Very original accommodation (horse stable) - something different. Nice to get away from the world's luxuries. All the basics are there that you need. The manager is truly an asset to the place.
Quiet place. If you are looking for silence and sit and do nothing. Then the net is the place for you.
The entire farm layout, which has been converted into neat living units, creates a surprising atmosphere that, together with the natural beauty and fresh air, creates a place where any weary traveler's soul finds rest and peace. Breaking up a long drive with an overnight port with Summerhill gave us more than we bargained for. If you are one for the simplicity of being human and want to break with the ease of life that you take for granted, a day or two at Summerhill is just the therapy for you.
