Place is so cool, and we were welcomed with a friendly face. I hope to bring my friend soon.
It was our second stay in the facility and we were lucky to get the same room that was allocated to us about 4 years ago. Everything still the same. What we require for our stay however the couch needs some cleaning and the kids battled with DStv. They must look at upgrading some of their equipment.
I really enjoyed it and I will book it again for next time.

I recommend Summerstrand Lodge. It is tranquil, safe, and walking distance from shopping centre, beach, and eateries.
The overall experience was such that we would highly recommend it.
We paid R1500 and got no clean towels and no toilet paper replacement. The rooms are cleaned at extra cost while no detergent is provided if you want to clean the toilets yourself. The ad says you can swim but the owner has dogs that must be kept closed. We felt really unwelcome. I was received by the cleaner and they didn't know where my reservation was we were so stressed. I asked for my money back, but then after a search they found my reservation.
There were no hangers in the one room closet and they first wanted to put us in a unit that was not the same as the unit they sent me pictures of.
No view from apartment. No TV reception in apartment.
Reception was great, and the place was nice and clean and really close to everything you need if you want to get away for a bit.
Had a nice stay. Conveniently close to everything and safe.
It was nice to stay there, everything is well furnished but not much for the children.
