Our hostess, Dorothy, kept in touch with us throughout as we arrived late. Friendly reception. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Even the heater was on as it was already getting cool in the Free State. The KitKat was an undeniable treat. Many thanks to everyone for your friendly and excellent service.
I will definitely stay here again if I have to spend the night in Bloemfontein. Dorothy made contact before our flight to Bloemfontein. When we landed she found out if we were safe and forwarded the location. The welcome at the guest house was sincere, you immediately feel at home. Love the country feel. Since we had to be in Tempe, this was the best place to stay!
Dorothy was very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were neat and clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone.
Summerwood is an absolutely beautiful place with the nicest outdoor area and spacious units. The decor is very nicely done, complete with chocolates on the bed and flowers in the bath. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable and make you feel welcome. Although meals were not provided, the hostess provided us with more than enough food, a braai, bowls etc. All the fridges and appliances work well, and the blankets are heavenly. The only thing that really bothers me is the quality of the bed mattresses. I woke up with a stiff neck, a grumpy husband and a young athlete whose back hurt in the morning. Unfortunately, this was the main reason that we cut the visit short.
Very hospitable. Everything is in its place. Everything is clean and working. Nothing is too much to ask. Will definitely stay there again. You also feel safe.
