It was clean and exactly like the photos. It was a 5 min drive from the venue we were visiting so it was very convenient. We could come and go as we pleased and we had some late nights so I am glad that we did not have to worry about that.

What is of course also important is that your vehicle is safe. The natural sounds of the birds only make you more relaxed. The weather was great and we slept great. The induction plate works great. (First time I use it). The water pressure was very good and hot water quickly available. There is plenty of storage space in the unit and it is very well equipped with plenty of warm blankets.

We arrived around 7 o'clock in the evening. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The freezer was a bonus on our route to the West Coast.

Suné's accommodation is a clean and neat place to stay for an evening or two. Everything is there to make your stay comfortable. You can light a fire yourself to braai. The only negative comment is that it would have been nice if Suné had made the effort greet us, we didn't see her at all.
My husband and I planned to go to the Matroosberge this weekend. I went on the website and saw that Suné's Self Catering is 37 km from the mountains and then decided to book it and just paid for the 2 days. The day before we left I went on Google Maps and saw that it was not 37 km but 89 km. I immediately called the agent and asked because it is very far from where we want to go (I think I live in Paarl, so might as well sleep at my house and then go from there), she confirmed that it was is only 37 km, because she spoke to the guest house's owner (Suné) and she confirmed it. Saturday morning when we got up I googled again from Suné's and it still showed 89 km. Which was 89 km when we got to the mountains. And as a result, we didn't go back to our guest house on Saturday night, but to our own house. I threw R600 in the water because the things on the website are not correct and Suné was not honest with the distance from her guest house to the mountains.

Although we slept nice and warm, it was very cold in the living area. Loose carpets in the living area and bedroom would be welcome to absorb the worst of the cold.

The place has everything you need. Everything was very nice and clean which is a big plus. The beds are just a bit hard, especially the one in the living room so sleep is not 100%. The arrangements and check-in for the weekend were very well organized and went very smoothly. The DStv wasn't working, so no TV for the weekend, but owner promised to have it watched and she gave us a discount for it which is also a plus point. All in all, it was a lovely stay and no major issues.

We were disappointed, we had the B flat, loose and broken tiles, mold, mattress needs replacing, no cooking fire, fridge makes a lot of noise and stores in the night and we couldn't sit outside or you sat in the parking lot. No warm welcome , distantly ... to the owners sleep one night in flat B and you understand us.
Everything is perfect, it's just that a little dust will do the trick for me, because I prefer to cook my food.

The stay was a pleasure. The spacious apartment is equipped with everything one needs, even DSTV with all the channels. It is also a very peaceful and beautiful environment, among other things within walking distance of the Karoo Botanical Garden, and further only a 5 minute drive from the town centre, or a 3 minute drive to the N1. I will use it again.

Suné was so friendly and helpful right from the start. At least we had the opportunity to meet her. It is located in a quiet suburb, just what we needed. We had covered parking and Suné offered us the use of the braai. Everything was very clean. The only problem we had was the fact that there is pots and pans, but no stove? This is a self-catering unit and there should be such facilities. My suggestion is to rather take away the pots and pans if placing a stove isn't an option? It only gets in the way. Other than that we had a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!
