Our stay was excellent. It is a peaceful place where you can relax. The house is very neat, comfortable and modern, and the bed was very nice and cuddly. Karin received us kindly and her communication was excellent. I will definitely visit there again and also recommend.
The place is not only value for money but really set up so that everything you could possibly need is there such as a hairdryer, extra blankets and kitchen essentials. We were kindly received and could really rest with the tranquility that the place offers.

We stayed at Sunflower and it was amazing. It is very central and close to many things that you need. The place was fully equipped with everyday things you need. The bed was comfortable, although the bathroom is a bit small, but nothing we couldn't work with. It has a lovely outside area, and I really enjoyed watching the squirrels and the birds.

We were in the Cape for medical reasons and the accommodation was more than adequate. Beautifully tidy with nice warm blankets on a very cold, wet weekend. Only "complaint" is that the bathroom is very small. If it was a little bigger, the place is close to perfect. Located close to everything. Beautiful gardens and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

I was received very kindly by Karin. The place is extremely neat and clean with a comfortable warm sheet for the freezing cold. It is definitely value for money and well located for my purpose. I really appreciated the safety for my vehicle. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer to enjoy the beautiful garden more. The space between the shower door and sink may be a bit small if you have a fuller figure. Maybe the taps could just get a dot of red cutex as a marker which side is hot and which side is cold to save water. My stay was very comfortable and nice. I would definitely stay there again.

This is the cleanest, most beautiful self-catering unit we have ever stayed in! Everything one needs is provided in the unit. It's luxurious and everything, from the linen and bedding, to the furniture and kitchen items, is of the best quality! The unit inside is spacious and comfortable and the garden is beautiful and peaceful. Beautiful outdoor seating with a braai, in a private piece of garden. The location is excellent and unit is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Netflix and the full DStv package are available to watch.

It was a very good experience, our hostess managed to have globes that shine when loadshedding started and a backup solar light. As we stayed 5 days, a suggestion would be to just have a camping gas cooker (in a box). This would help with boiling water or preparing a little meal. Overall a very good place to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in the Moonflower unit (December 10-13). All rooms are comfortably spacious, with built-in wardrobes in the bedroom, a very modern and tidy kitchen, sitting/dining room and another enclosed porch room with glass doors. Do take into account that the unit shares a wall with the smaller Sunflower, and also that the kitchen of Moonflower is connected to the house by two interior doors. There was no disturbance during our stay, but someone who is sensitive to conversational sounds or is not very quiet themselves may want to take this into account.

Spent 5 days in this lovely little flat situated in a beautiful, quiet garden setting. The location is perfect and we could do the tourist thing from there. Was kindly welcomed and accommodation was neat and fully equipped. Will definitely stay there again. The DStv had a bit of bad reception the last 2, 3 days. Not sure if it's because the weather conditions were not. Only suggestion is that flat sheets should be put on the beds or left in the closet, because it was quite hot at night and you couldn't sleep under the duvet. Otherwise maybe air conditioning? Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

The place is very good value for money. Neat and clean. Secure parking. Everything we needed was there and everything works. Bathroom needs some attention. No place to put clothes and toiletry bags. Maybe a towel rail instead of the enormous bamboo ladder that makes movement in the shower difficult.

Top quality from the teaspoons to the security measures. This is an upmarket accommodation venue. Worth every cent of the price. I have but one single, slightly off, comment and that is that the toilet, shower and basin area, although high quality fittings and amenities, is a bit pokey in size. But this doesn't detract from the overall excellence of the accommodation offered.

The stay was very pleasant. It was modern, clean and spacious. The hostess made an effort and upgraded us to a bigger room on her own when she realized we had small babies with us. We were informed in advance about load shedding and provided with extra lighting. The accommodation is located in a lovely garden next to the main house. That, and the security gates made us feel very safe. I can recommend the accommodation without hesitation.

My husband and I got married on the 26th of September and decided on Sunday that we would now go on a quick honeymoon. All places that were available could not help us. Until we came across this gem of a place. Within a few minutes we heard there was room for us and we were through immediately. The place is beautiful and quiet and in the morning you hear the most beautiful birds singing. One of the most beautiful places. My husband and I will definitely come again.

Accommodation met our expectations.
We had the privilege of staying at the Sunflower for a night. The self-catering chalet has a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom and is immaculately furnished with everything you need, it is spotlessly clean and neat and is ideal for 2 people. Set in Durbanville, you are away from CT, and that is great if you want some peace and quiet. Karin is a wonderful hostess so please support her. I can honestly recommend the Sunflower!
Would have liked more coffee than just the 2 wanted. Also the room was not cleaned at all on the Saturday as I was used to. Also the fact that I especially didn't know if the dogs were loose was scary.
