The unit is nice and clean, there are enough cutlery/cups/mugs and general kitchen stuff you will need. The hostess was brilliant and helped immediately if there was a problem. As with any place that is regularly used by holidaymakers, there are a few little things that show signs of use, but nothing that made it unpleasant for us. We will visit here again.
The collection of keys was a issue, waited 3 hours to optain keys, mail was send to us during our travelling time ─ no email access ─ should send info to collect keys in time ─ not while travelling.
The location is great. 15 to 45 min away from Balito, Umhlanga and Durban. The area is nice, safe, and peaceful. The apartment is well equipped but could use some small fixing. The pool is well maintained and there is a super view everywhere! The building itself and the elevator need some attention. If driving a big vehicle, the driveway can be a bit narrow, but the garage space is not a problem. Bring your own candles or lights for load-shedding. There are chargeable lights but no charger. Overall we had a wonderful stay for 7 days, 4 people.

The apartment is dirty.
Unit does not look as advertised at all. Dirty, sticky and full of dust. No white towels, curtains in bedroom dirty and falling off rails. Broken blinds in rooms, porch dirty and no cushions on chairs, couch broken, microwave broken and no curtains in living room as advertised. Unity looks neglected. Then owner wants stories about crockery deposit being refundable but still the unit falls apart.
The apartment block is almost inside the sea. Parking in a closed garage. Beautiful sea view from the open-plan lounge, balcony and master bedroom. High quality beds. Very comfortable and everything you need to have a wonderful rest by the sea is there in the apartment. Unfortunately, the apartment lobby is not well looked after by the management, but the apartment inside is beautiful. Very close to the beach. Very pleasant owner. Will go again if I can.

Beautiful apartment that is ideally located, right on the beach front. Balito and Umhlanga are both just around the corner. Small problems were quickly addressed and resolved by the owners. The balcony offers excellent views of the sea, and was the ideal gathering place for us. Thank you very much Sune, we will definitely check in again!

Value for money with a fantastic view! Parking for large vehicles is unfortunately a bit tight. Unit has been thoroughly cleaned. We will definitely be back again.
You look forward to the places you see in photos, but this was not the case. The walls of the place were so dirty with hand marks. The furniture is falling apart, no maintenance is done at all, half of all the appliances and furniture have been taken out of the place. What a disappointment.
Suné was in constant contact to make sure there was nothing missing, lovely apartment with a fantastic sea view, constantly saw dolphins and whales, will definitely stay there again.

The garage door did not work. The elevator in the complex did not work. Many lights in the unit out of order. Walls dirty in certain places. Damp walls in bedroom with peeling paint. Dirty pans in the oven. Cupboards in camera full of cleaning equipment.

Was very nice and the place was lovely. Good view of the ocean, clean throughout. Limited parking if you have a big van. Otherwise amazing, fantastic, and I will be back. Cleaning lady never showed up.
We used the address provided but it was the wrong address. When we found the place, there must have been an attachment sent to us by the owner or manager to get directions to get the keys to the unit in Balitio of all places. Just to make things easier so you don't have to drive back and forth to get keys, leave them at the real estate office next to the building, many other units do this. When we entered the place, finally, we looked at what was there and they had everything that was good. During the day when we want to cook and test everything and see what works and what doesn't to be able to keep our deposit, we find out the oven doesn't work, there are some downlights and wall lights that don't work no, there is water damage in the walls of 1 of the rooms and that when we wanted to use the porch outside, the patio set is full of cobwebs that one cannot sit there. I was told the night before that the cleaning services were there but apparently not for outside. I can honestly say that the place is good if it is well looked after, and if it is well organized by the owner the place will be worth the price but unfortunately not. The place should go for R900 a day, if not less, due to negligence.
We're definitely coming again - it was lovely and the flat is comfortable and neat. Beautiful views from all the rooms! Towels and toilet paper would be a bonus, though.

The beaches were filthy as the local youth vandalised the area on weekends. The flat's balcony was loose, from a safety point I won't recommend the unit for people with small children. The main bedroom's toilet seat was broken and was not fixed properly the entire period that we used the unit. It also took longer than a month after we asked, to get the deposit refunded. The owner held R50 back to claim for a rusted Broom head that came loose. Definitely won't recommend this unit as it is pricey for what you get, unsafe and noisy over weekends with the youth partying till morning hours.
