Nice bed with a fantastic view. Unfortunately struggling with gasgeys and power, loadshedding and going in and out. Hostess was helpful and friendly. Don't go without a mosquito net. Only 2 candles with 4/12 hour power off in evening. There you appreciate the creation again. Thank you very much. Saw beautiful animals. Golden hartebeef, giraffe vlakkies and bald goats. View of a deep gorge and mountain from your bed! Booking error: she didn't know we were coming. Had a bit of trouble getting in and out. Never met hostess. Gas geyser only works for a while then it is cold. Then you have to close him and try again, struggle. House beautiful. Very clean. Would absolutely go again for nature.

The guest house is on the edge of town and overlooks a conservation area in a peaceful and safe environment. The staff is friendly and the service is very good. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean with all amenities needed. Decor in rooms and dining hall is very tasteful and breakfast was tasty and enough. Will definitely want to stay there again in the future and would be happy to recommend it too! Thank you very much!

Value for money with a homey atmosphere.
Whilst the on-sight staff were friendly and accommodating, we battled with huge noise coming from the lounge area both nights of our stay. We chose this location to spend over New Years eve to try get away from chaos and noise - but the fireworks being let off right outside and the fellow patrons running around screaming at midnight did not impress. Given that this is supposed to be a guest house - an interjection from the owners would have been nice. The private balcony was also not private - it faced the front gate so everyone driving in and out could see us. The card machine was giving problems on the morning that we tried to check out - the owner was eventually called to report the fault with the machine. She told her staff member to tell my husband that he clearly doesn't have any money on his card and that's why its failing. He was told to do an EFT right there and then. The establishment has great potential - perhaps if the owners were more 'hands on' and less rude.
The breakfast was fantastic. The lady preparing the food was so pleasant and friendly. Would definitely recommend Sunset Ridge.

We had a nice time. Here you can truly relax. Friendly and helpful staff. The place is luxurious, exactly as advertised. Spacious shower, large bath and king-sized bed. Next time we visit Rustenburg, we'll definitely use this guesthouse again.
Nothing was too much of an effort. Even when we asked to sleep over for another night a few things were moved around to accommodate us in the same room. We were busy moving from one house to another and it was no effort for them to pack a lunch for our 7 year old every day - and at no extra cost! Would stay here again anytime and highly recommend it to anyone, whether you're a traveller or just someone in a crisis looking for a place to stay.
