The adjacent living area has a TV for media entertainment. There are braai facilities for guests to use, and secure parking for only 1 car. Parking can be awkward at times due to location of the property. Sunset Villa and Cottage is within driving and walking distance from most of the attractions in the town.
Wi-Fi is available in some areas. All linen is washed and ironed inhouse.
Note that the driveway is shared with other property owners. The neighbour is currently renovating his property and there may be noise or inconvenience at times.

It was absolutely amazing. The view is spectacular; everything is in walking distance. I would recommend it if you just need a few days away from the busy city.
It was an incredibly nice 2 days in Sunset Cottage. Met the owner - very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for her. She kept us updated on power outages and more. Met us on arrival and received us kindly. He was always available if you wanted to know something or just wanted to start a chat. Sunset Cottage is fully equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return as soon as possible.

Sunset Cottage is beautiful. Everything was neat and clean. Nice view of the lagoon. (Sunset "absolutely beautiful".) Nice little beaches in front of the house (footpath down to the beach). Vusi (the assistant) was always available by phone and willing to help with queries.
The accommodation has an incredible view. It feels as if one is on a boat on the water. The stairs are a bit steep for if you take older people with you, but there is a bedroom upstairs.
Linn was very helpful and a good host.
Lovely stay, just too many bugs flying around which we had to buy insecticide to kill.

We had a very nice stay. Linn is a friendly host and made sure we had everything we needed. The Villa's view is much better, but the cottage still has a good view. It is very centrally located and you can walk to the restaurants.

One roll of toilet paper per toilet is too little. My daughter-in-law ate bad food at a restaurant which resulted in us having to go and buy toilet paper in a hurry.
Wow, wow, wow. The Sunset Villa didn't just set the bar to a whole other level; you simply won't find a better place. From the modern finishes and the 300-degree view overlooking the lagoon, with the subtle sound of gushing water, you won't get better. It's just Amazing, beyond what words can describe. The building style of the house is reminiscent of a boat and it provides that there are beautiful views of the lake.

The place is very well appointed. The service is good. It's very neat with a peaceful atmosphere and nice view.
Felt unsafe, feel free to install burglar bars in front of master bedroom sliding door. Glass top in kitchen on table keeps moving around. Got some blue spots. But still the most beautiful views.

We were very happy with our two night stay in Sunset Cottage. We were one couple and a single friend. We had everything we needed and were also offered a late check out on our departure day as there was no-one checking in that day, which was very kind. Everything was spotlessly clean and the cottage has all the appliances you might need for a longer stay. I agree with previous reviewers that it would be good to supply more than 4 items of each type of crockery and cutlery so that one could fill the dishwasher before using it. But that is really a minor criticism and would only really apply to longer stays. All in all we would highly recommend Sunset cottage.

We had a great time staying here, it is a beautiful and tidy unit. Very well furnished. The unit can only sleep four people and there are only four plates, cutlery etc. There is a dishwasher, but you can't fill it because there aren't enough utensils. So you have to wash the machine after every meal. It has a breathtaking view! The braai is slightly misleading in the photos because it is a very narrow braai and it is in a funny place on the side of the house. That didn't stop us from grilling. We had a great time. Thank you very much.
