Everything was perfect, we felt at home away from home. The manager and helpers were very friendly. We were updated on load shedding times hours before.

Our stay at Sunshine Self Catering was absolutely amazing. The unit was more beautiful than the photos that you see. We were very comfortable except for the humidity.
We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the place. The only negative thing that is not nice is the shower floor. The slope is very steep which makes the floor very slippery, but at least it is not something that cannot be bridged. Furthermore, it is a peaceful extension and we had a very nice stay.

Sunshine Self Catering is ideally situated. With 2 major shopping centres a mere 3 km away and easy access to any major routes, this accommodation is the best value for money, and ideal for a family with kids.
This is much more than we have experienced at other sleeping places.

Place is clean and tidy.
On our first night, we discovered the one bedroom's fan and bedside lamp was not working. And did let the owner know. But I feel this should have been checked by the owners. Cindy came out to have a look in the bedroom and saw that there were live wires. And later that evening when we showered, we were shocked when we opened and closed the tap of the shower. We informed Cindy and she made arrangements for the electrician to come out the next morning to sort these things out. On Saturday when we came home the live wires were fixed and when my husband used the shower he was not getting shocked again, but I was traumatised by what I experienced on Friday and told Cindy I am afraid to use the shower. I didn't use the shower for the entire stay. This means that the live wires in the bedroom close to the shower were the cause of us getting shocked in the shower (bad earth connection or a poor neutral wire/neutral bond). I feel that it is very important for owners to check everything and make 100% sure everything is okay. This could have been prevented. We were very disappointed. It was a horrible experience. Poor wifi signal as well.
Als was very pleasant and very nice. The only thing that was a problem was the music from someone or place that bothered in the evenings.
We needed to stay close to the Rob Ferreira Hospital. Sunshine was exactly what we needed, walking distance from the hospital, safe and quiet.

The communication and directions before occupation were well done. We were kindly received and basic arrangements were clearly communicated. Our stay was tidy and serviced daily. Parking on the inside, though safe, was quite cramped and tested your parking skills when all the units were occupied.
Upon arrival we felt welcome. The unit is well laid out en has everything you need for a getaway.

Good, neat accommodation. But I would have preferred the bath towels to be washed/replaced on a daily basis as used towels were just left hanging on the racks for reuse.

The management was particularly friendly and went out of their way to help us with maps, road directions etc. We were there for a Winex expo, with a lot of logistical problems (regarding courier goods that were delivered there, even before we were there!) No effort was spared and we never felt like we were a bother. Thank you very much!

We spent 11 days in the Lodge. It was very nice and well appointed. It is also centrally located and all the big Malls are 5 minutes' drive from the Lodge.

We really had a pleasant stay. The place is clean, cool and well equipped with everything that one might think of. To be honest, it was beyond my expectations. It was overall an excellent experience staying at Sunshine Self Catering. All rooms were clean on arrival and the service was outstanding.

It is a nice place to stay for a short stay. It is well located and clean. Only a shame that there is no cleaning service over the weekends.
