I'm a DJ and didn't arrive at Suntouched until 5 in the morning and they were kind enough to tell me I didn't have to check out at 11 but only at 1pm (I was able to get a good night's rest). Would recommend them to everyone. Thank you very much.

The nights were cold, but The Barn self-catering cottage was cozy and warm and the fireplace worked well. We also really enjoyed the restaurant. Napier is nicely central and one can easily visit Waenhuiskrans cave and South Point of Africa from there. We also had a successful visit to Home Affairs in Bredasdorp, for IDs and passports which in our own big town would take hours in a long queue.
We enjoyed the stay very much. The facilities are excellent, well equipped and the restaurant's food is delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Even during loadshedding wifi is available and there is also provision made by gas stove and lights.

No, not at all. The residence is opened for the public to sit and visit and the languages that come through were terrible. We felt completely uncomfortable and uneasy. We were expecting a quiet evening but it felt like a bar. The owner was also very grumpy and unfriendly.

Wonderful getaway with people whose humbleness is so unique that you feel like you are part of the family. Teunie, Pieter and Tamie were wonderful hosts. Thanks for the wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful rooms and clean bathroom. The quiet environment did us good. Would definitely recommend the Suntouched Inn for an overnight stay. The hostess received us kindly and was very helpful with information about the town. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy with a touch of old world atmosphere. The traffic didn't bother us at all.

The overall review was, for us, good, but only because we had good service from the manager and the pizzas were awesome. I feel that the owners can maybe put a kettle and coffee/tea for private visitors. We felt we did not want to sit in a small lounge with other people just to have coffee/tea. The place was clean, the room was clean, we also did not like the wooden bed, if anyone knows that wooden framed beds creak when you move, then I must be old. For my comment to recommend it, I feel it is a place for backpackers only.

Booked the Barn a year ago because we wanted to spend the night as a family with my mother and our puppy for 2 nights. We were told the place was no longer available and we were put in 3 separate rooms in the backpackers. Was very disappointed and when I wanted to ask questions about why we didn't get the place I had already booked a year ago, the hostess was a bit incompetent. Next morning we saw that a single woman was booked into the place we should have had. I would expect such arrangements to be told in advance if a place is no longer available. I see this as extremely unprofessional. Will not use the place again or recommend to anyone.

A good value stay in Napier. Friendly staff and tasty food in the onsite restaurant. Great character pub with a good vibe on the weekend. Wi-Fi not great. Parking on street, but seemed safe enough. Located on the main through-road, so busy by day and quietened down at night.
