We had a very nice stay. The apartment is very spacious, large rooms and large bathroom make it easy for a family with children and a lot of luggage. The unit is neat and clean and had everything we needed. It is well located in the complex near the swimming pool, braai area and the beach access. It is very nice to stay so conveniently close to the beach, we had a lot of fun swimming in the rock pools in front of the complex and easily walked to the swimming beach with the children.
The place is so beautiful, clean, and safe. I really enjoyed my stay there and I will recommend it to my colleagues for a year-end function.

Safe, secure location. Fully furnished unit, short walk out of the complex to the beach. Very close to shopping centres and restaurants. Great value for money.
The unit could do with a shower instead of a tub, possibility of Wi-Fi also would be great. Additional blankets for winter would be most useful as Margate gets really cold in winter.
The staff, particularly Eunice was understanding/informative and helpful. The unit was very clean and well decorated. Surely a place worth coming back to!

Very comfortable living room, beds and dining room which did feel spacious for a small place with enough moving space. Top floor which has a partial sea view, There is only one bathroom but was fine for our small family.
Could owner possibly look at putting decals on sliding doors.

A fantastic little unit. Neat and everything you need. Would advise to get aircon and Wi-Fi and to keep the TV accessible until we check out at 10:00. Other than that perfect.

Ideally located close to the The Shelly Centre and movies and a step away from the beach is all one needs when on vacation with teenagers. The flat itself is very clean and comfortable. We cant wait to come back.
Conveniently close to beach and shops. An aircon would really be a plus. The shower could be improved. Couldn't use at all, pipe leaked very badly. Dishcloths for the kitchen will also help a lot. Furthermore, the place is well laid out and comfortable.
It's safe for kids to be in. 5 stars for cleanliness and safe.
Their DStv has a signal problem. No Wi-Fi.

Very good location to stay. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, yet close enough that one can quickly find something at the shopping complex without having to struggle through traffic. Close to popular swimming beach and fishing points.
It was close to the beach and shops. My kids were safe all the time in the complex. It was peaceful and relaxing. We did have a good time and it was so clean and well kept.
I will say it was money well spent. Very peaceful and a lot of activities for the kids as well. Highly recommended.

The apartment was very clean. Good location, quiet and tranquil.
Please don't rush us to be out, at least 30 min extra as much as we enjoyed our stay, we were rushed to be out.
It was safe and everything was perfect.
Water issues and Eskom problems. Would of been nice to have been informed. No complaints just compliments to the layout and design of the apartment. Putt-putt course seemed not to be functional. Lovely area and enjoyed the stay.
Just think there could be a more comfortable bed in the master bedroom. And maybe replace the dishwasher with a washing machine.
Apartment needs upgrading in kitchen, fridge leaks water and front door with security gate also needs upgrading, hard to lock, not secure. Cutlery should also be replaced, if it looks like old things in the kitchen. Coffee mugs chipped too.
The unit was perfect – we thoroughly enjoyed ourself. It was good that there was a kids play area as well. The unit was ideally situated to all amenities and the beach. Definitely worth it and worth returning on future holidays to the South Coast. However I would like to point out the following: Check-out times must be re-considered to 10:00 instead of 9 - with kids aged 4 &5 it was difficult to get them ready and consideration to perhaps convert tub to a shower unit - it was difficult to use a tub for a large size person like me. Overall though, a great weekend experience altogether.
Grounds and flat are kept in great condition. The safety door though could use some care. You have to be strong or take a strong man with to open the safety and wooden door. Braai casserole with lid could come in handy, seeing that the braai area is downstairs. The patio is awesome where no wind catches you while listening to the waves and looking at the sky.

Our family had a great time staying at 76 Surf bay Sands! The apartment is nice and spacious, tastefully decorated and has everything one needs for a peaceful holiday. The complex is safe, has direct access to the beach and is very close to the Shelly Center for shopping. Both our children had a great time playing and swimming, the complex is safe and quiet. We will definitely want to book a holiday here again.
The fans in the rooms may need to be replaced. Rusted and wouldn't work.
Provision was made for dishwashing tablets and dish soap.
We were not free so it made our stay uncomfortable.
It is very nice to stay at Surf Bay Sands.
