It was convenient and clean. I think it's time for new bedding, towels, beds, and pillows. The hill is quite scary to navigate with not much space for the car to get in and out of that alleyway when other cars are parked there.
Had a great time, braai area is comfortable. Make your life so much more convenient with a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

The apartment is nice and spacious, neatly and neatly furnished and very well equipped. Everything has been thought of, even lights for use during load shedding. The steep entrance road and the narrow access between the units require a bit of driving skill, but otherwise the location is very good in terms of the beach and shops.

It was much better than expected. The check-in and check-out were effortless. The unit was clean, tidy and everything worked.
In the morning when the sun shines nicely in the apartment, you can see how dirty the floor is. The neighbor stops in two parking spaces. Then I am told to knock on his door to move his car so we can use the garage. Apartments are built on a severe slope. Quite a struggle to get there with our rental car. It was mentioned that one has to pay a cash deposit. Specially withdrew the cash only to find out that the deposit actually needs to be transferred electronically. By 16:00 the afternoon of check-in we had not received any extra information about where to get the keys. Had trouble getting through to the nonmer listed for the apartment.
My dad who is widowed slept in the single bed room but the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable for him, we had to change sleeping arrangements around which was not practical. The driveway was a challenge in it was too steep for me with a hip replacement and my elderly father. Wished I had known this before booking.

The steep climb at the gate was a nightmare for our 1.2L vehicle. The place also has no full length mirrors which is quite an important item for ladies.
Big headache with keys and exit. Very difficult to find the keys, on the far side of town. Very difficult to get to the complex with a buggy. Lower gate closed to vehicles.
Surfpoint 9 is well located, but guests just need to be advised of the style slopes within the premises which can make access difficult when it rains. Parking spaces are now and 2 large vehicles hardly fit side by side under the canopies. Apartment gets early morning sun, which makes the place quite warm. Installation of WiFi and an air conditioner may be considered. We had a great rest and it was definitely good value for money.
We and some friends rented this great affordable property for a night and it was great. Beautiful sea view and all the necessary facilities at hand.
The place was phantasmagoric and very relaxing. Close to everything and looking out over the waters from the balcony was really very peaceful. Cleaning items such as a broom and mop were missing.

The smell of the beach, when you wake up in the morning, wow so amazing, looking forward to visiting Surfpoint 9 again.
There is nothing that needs improvement, everything is great and view and cleanliness of units really a pleasure to see. Maybe they can look for good special offers for accommodation off-season time. It can only be nice to then make use of it.

We spent a very nice weekend in Jeffrey's, and Surfpoint 9 added a lot to our enjoyment. The place is spacious, neat, clean and very safe, with a nice view. Could see the surfers on the sea in the morning and evening! I mentioned a few small problems to Pieter, and he immediately set about sorting them out. As a family we agree - we would love to stay there again, and I will certainly recommend it to my family and friends as well.
Just a pity I had to pick up keys in another place. And the security firm is totally incompetent to issue keys. Asked 2 times if these are the right keys and sure enough they are. Asked how do I get into Surfpoint, the lady told me I don't know and closed the window. Arrived at Surfpoint and it turned out to be the wrong keys. What a nightmare. Think the owner would do better to have keys collected at another location, and that's my only reason why I say no.

We enjoyed our weekend at Surfpoint 9, the unit was clean. The complex was blissful, so peaceful, everything we needed for our weekend away. The only negative is just that it's not a walk over to the beach. You actually have to get into your car to go to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and everything needed is there. The sea view from the balcony, where you can barbecue, creates a very peaceful atmosphere. The complex is very peaceful and quiet.
The beds are not very comfortable, so a longer stay would not be pleasant.
The only matter requiring attention is the toilet seat of en suite which slides to side when you sit on it.

The apartment is laid out in a very parklike manner with good facilities, such as a braai on the stoep. The garage also adjoins the porch with a sliding door. It's a cute place, modern and well equipped. However, it was difficult with small children because there is little space and the complex is laid out very compactly. What bothered me was the absence of large outdoor bins.
The visit was very nice, parking with a trailer can be a problem, but the place is central and very safe.

Parking in complex is very uncomfortable, as well as the exit as there is a steep uphill to get out. Master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable. Otherwise it was very neat and comfortable. Close to shops etc.
The advertisement says there is Wi-Fi, but there wasn't. It is also not said that the keys must be obtained from the security. We had to hear it from the guests. We took the key and found out that we also need a remote for the gate. We waited an hour for security to get it. The remote did not work and then they had to give us their own. One and half hours after we arrived we entered the apartment.
In a safe complex, but not much colour and character. Would've liked to see more vegetation, even just some grass, but understand that it's difficult with the limited space for housing. Braai facilities a bit small, nevertheless a cozy area for socialising.

When we arrived no one was there to receive us and there's not even a doorbell. Someone who lives there explained to us where to go to get the key. After squeezing into the tiny parking space we entered the foul-smelling unit. Dirty carpets, no fresh bedlinen, toilet rolls that were basically spent, bathroom carpets were very dirty and had a bad smell, generally not a place I can recommend.
It has a very peaceful atmosphere. Very neat, clean and the security was good. Will visit Surfpoint 9 anytime. The owner, Piet, is very friendly and offered help when we needed anything. It was very considerate of him.

Very comfortable accommodation with everything needed and value for money for six people! It was also the first time we have stayed in a place that the owner calls after our arrival to find out if everything is ok and we are satisfied! Beds comfortable, but decent pillows would make a big difference.

Upon our arrival, we were able to move into the apartment immediately. Upon unlocking the door I felt welcome. It was a clean fresh smell that hung in the apartment. Pieter van der Walt - the owner - could see the warm heart of the apartment. The place is fully equipped, spacious and safe. There was not one single time that we feared that our lives, our car or other property was in danger. Not once did we struggle with hot water. The setting is just as amazing. From our balcony is the most beautiful sea view.

Although the hot water cylinder burst (such things happen), it was still pleasant and the accommodation in very good condition and tidy.
Surfpoint 9 is well appointed. All that was really missing was a tumble dryer for the wet towels in the rainy weather.
Only problem was aerial connection to TV was broken, otherwise secure and close to beach and shops.
