63 guests' feedbackWhat a big surprise the weekend had been. We stayed in the lodge room and it exceeded all our expectations. It was clean and very tastefully furnished. Everything was in place. We were received very kindly by the owner. The room was ready with lovely soothing music, the heater was on to make the room nice and warm, as well as the electric blanket on the bed. The food was of the best quality. Delicious farm food. The only negative comment was that the weekend flew by too quickly. We could definitely do with a few more days! It was definitely worthwhile and value for money. We look forward to our next visit.

Swan Lake is an excellent getaway where my wife and I could just relax and "recharge". We stayed two nights so we could have a full day just to rest, and it was exactly what we needed.

The unit overlooking the water was the perfect weekend getaway to commemorate our wedding day. The nature was beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting on the "deck" while listening to the many bird sounds and watching the swans. The service was great and we really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The owner was very friendly and had no problem accommodating any of our requests. I can confidently recommend Swan Lake to anyone.
The nature around the cabin means that you can switch off, even with a busy program. Breakfast on the deck early in the morning is the best, followed by the late night coffee while watching the moon over the water.

Swan Lake is located a short distance outside Bloenfontien on a smallholding. There really is a lake and swans! We had a great stay in the Lodge room which consists of a room with access to a living area, reception area and braai facilities.
Very comfy bed with decent bedding, delicious breakfast to be enjoyed overlooking the charming swan-lake. Was very pleased to be met by the host John and his 3 charming swans. A stay that I will treasure for ever.

The accommodation is "out of this world" - elegant and fairytale-like! We had a great time relaxing from the moment we landed there to the moment we left. With the beautiful atmosphere, one of the highlights is being able to feed the swans and they often come to say hello and frolic right in front of the "cabin". We're not even talking about the incredibly delicious breakfast and the hospitality, it leaves one with no choice but to just feel at home and enjoy every moment. The getaway weekend was for sure one of our highlight getaway weekends and we will definitely "treasure" the weekend in our hearts forever. The reception on arrival was very nice and professional. Came to receive us at car. We're going back again. John keeps you informed of everything. There had been a power outage with the heavy weather and we were informed of the circumstances.
Als was as we read, the perfect place for 2 for barbecue day, we can really recommend Swan Lake, from the communication beforehand with John, the arrival, breakfast, John going out of his way to make sure everything is ok. And of course the view. Couldn't have picked a better place!

Arrangements through website were excellent. Swan Lake Cabin: Owner John kept in touch with us the entire time we were on our way and met us at the gate. We were explained how everything works and the bed was prepared according to our request. Everything painfully neat. Breakfast was served on time at our request and was delicious. The large garden and surroundings are very beautiful with a lake with waterfowl and swans. John was available all the time and he goes out of his way to keep you happy.
