63 guests' feedbackWhat a big surprise the weekend had been. We stayed in the lodge room and it exceeded all our expectations. It was clean and very tastefully furnished. Everything was in place. We were received very kindly by the owner. The room was ready with lovely soothing music, the heater was on to make the room nice and warm, as well as the electric blanket on the bed. The food was of the best quality. Delicious farm food. The only negative comment was that the weekend flew by too quickly. We could definitely do with a few more days! It was definitely worthwhile and value for money. We look forward to our next visit.

Swan Lake is an excellent getaway where my wife and I could just relax and "recharge". We stayed two nights so we could have a full day just to rest, and it was exactly what we needed.
So calming, quiet, and breathtakingly beautiful. The perfect place to get away from the city and refresh your soul! Incredible place! Peaceful, relaxing. Watching swans glide upon the water is incredibly calming. Very romantic, cosy place.

Very nice, especially if you like nature. Lots of birdlife, along with the swans of course. The swans are pretty tame and just make you calm when they float through the water like that. Friendly host.

Swan-lake: The picture-perfect paradise. Where ifs just going to stand still. When we opened the door and looked through the beautiful room at the "lake" and at that moment the two white swans swam towards us I knew it was the best gift (break) I could give my princess. Thank you, John.

The unit overlooking the water was the perfect weekend getaway to commemorate our wedding day. The nature was beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting on the "deck" while listening to the many bird sounds and watching the swans. The service was great and we really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The owner was very friendly and had no problem accommodating any of our requests. I can confidently recommend Swan Lake to anyone.
The nature around the cabin means that you can switch off, even with a busy program. Breakfast on the deck early in the morning is the best, followed by the late night coffee while watching the moon over the water.
The host went out of his way to make sure I got there safely. Beautiful garden with lake and beautiful swans. Delicious breakfast with a view of the lake included in the price. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the location is ideal.
Swan Lake is located a short distance outside Bloenfontien on a smallholding. There really is a lake and swans! We had a great stay in the Lodge room which consists of a room with access to a living area, reception area and braai facilities.
Very comfy bed with decent bedding, delicious breakfast to be enjoyed overlooking the charming swan-lake. Was very pleased to be met by the host John and his 3 charming swans. A stay that I will treasure for ever.

Swan Lake was definitely the best place we have ever slept. John couldn't do enough for us. The large breakfast that was brought to our cabin every morning was very convenient and particularly tasty. It is so peaceful and we really enjoyed the swans we could feed. The cabin is very well equipped and if you were looking for something it was there. One can see the cabin was built with love and carefully furnished. John is a great host and we would definitely like to stay there again and recommend it to everyone. Found this little gem of a place. Close to airport. A few minutes drive from CBD. Cleanest guesthouse that I have stayed at. Great breakfast. Next to lake with family of swans. Was just incredible. Can definitely recommend.
The accommodation is "out of this world" - elegant and fairytale-like! We had a great time relaxing from the moment we landed there to the moment we left. With the beautiful atmosphere, one of the highlights is being able to feed the swans and they often come to say hello and frolic right in front of the "cabin". We're not even talking about the incredibly delicious breakfast and the hospitality, it leaves one with no choice but to just feel at home and enjoy every moment. The getaway weekend was for sure one of our highlight getaway weekends and we will definitely "treasure" the weekend in our hearts forever. We hope to be able to visit Swan-lake Cabin again one day in the future.

Swan-Lake Cabin is snoesig ingerig met alles wat ons kon nodig hê. Die voëllewe ronom die houthuis was asemrowend. Ons het ons verkyk aan die vinke se gebou en breek aan hulle nessies. En dan die swane met hulle kleintjie, wat gereeld vir on kom kuier het. Iets wat jy nie elke dag teëkom nie. Ons het die heerlikste ontbyt genuttig, in ons houthuis. Julle sal ons weer sien
The reception on arrival was very nice and professional. Came to receive us at car. We're going back again. John keeps you informed of everything. There had been a power outage with the heavy weather and we were informed of the circumstances.
Als was as we read, the perfect place for 2 for barbecue day, we can really recommend Swan Lake, from the communication beforehand with John, the arrival, breakfast, John going out of his way to make sure everything is ok. And of course the view. Couldn't have picked a better place!

Swan-lake Cabin is the ideal place to get away from the city noise without driving far. Completely secluded and private with only the swans and ducks for company. The hospitality of the owners, John and Maryke, is a bonus.

It's truly an experience to sit on the water between the trees while nature makes the most beautiful sounds and the swans visit you. In the evening, lights are switched on around the lake which creates the most beautiful atmosphere. The perfect place to switch off a bit.

The Swan-lake Cabin was out of this world! John is a great host and he made very sure that everything you might need is already in the cabin. Arrangements through website were excellent. Swan Lake Cabin: Owner John kept in touch with us the entire time we were on our way and met us at the gate. We were explained how everything works and the bed was prepared according to our request. Everything painfully neat. Breakfast was served on time at our request and was delicious. The large garden and surroundings are very beautiful with a lake with waterfowl and swans. John was available all the time and he goes out of his way to keep you happy. You can tell he enjoys and is proud of what he offers. I would recommend Swan Lake Cabin to any traveler.
