Hosts gave us the most warm welcome. It was an absolute pleasure to stay for the second time in Swellendam Country Lodge. The breakfast is gorgeous with fresh fruit and cereals. The bed linen I would like at home too.
Everything was as advertised, very clean, very friendly owners.
Spacious, beautiful room. At the lodge it feels like you are not in a village area at all. Delicious breakfast on the porch. During a power outage, the lodge was able to provide power.
Friendly reception, delicious breakfast, safe parking, beautiful room and bathroom. The only negative - in stark contrast to how neat the rest was - the plaster between the tiles in the shower was full of mold and the shower's water ran out too slowly.
Host is very friendly and helpful. Room is a bit small.
Great place to stay.
It really offers value for money. The guesthouse went out of their way to make us feel at home. Will strongly recommend it!
We really enjoyed the stay, the beautiful gardens are very well maintained, breakfast was out of the books and the host and wife as well as the people who work there are very friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
