Sweni Lodge is situated on the Western side of the main river lodge along the bush stands. There are 3 bedrooms fitted with double beds in the first 2 bedrooms, while the third room is a kid’s room which features twin single beds. The house features 2 full bathrooms, all rooms are fitted with air-conditioning. There is also a large TV with pre-loaded movies for your viewing pleasure. Uncapped WiFi. A private external deck overlooks the bushveld and as well as a beautiful braai area. The solar system, gas stove and geysers ensure minimal interruptions should power supply be interrupted.
The pool is a short walk away. A small community shop is run from the clubhouse but only the very basic necessities are offered. Jungle gyms, outdoor chess and a games room are available to keep the children entertained. Undercover parking is provided for 2 vehicles. The lodge's own private game vehicle can be booked with a private guide for sunset and sunrise drives.
Mjejane private game reserve is situated on 10 km of Crocodile River frontage on the southern border of Kruger and has been incorporated into the greater Kruger National Park. View the Big 5 from the lodge overlooking the bushveld, Book a game drive with the lodges private game vehicle, or do a self-drive safari into Kruger over the direct private access bridge (temporally closed). Game animals including the Big 5 are free to move between Mjejane and the greater Kruger National Park.

Yes, it was very nice. The place is nice clean and very well equipped.
Have a great time! The place has everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and the game drive is a 100% must! Thank you for the cute basket that was waiting for us to go on the game drive. Our guide was friendly and full of knowledge. He had a wonderful sense of humor. So to sum up, definitely visit here. It is more than worth it!
We had a very enjoyable stay at Sweni Lodge. The house is well equipped and in a great location.
We hosted guests from Germany (they were blown away with the standard of accommodation, the layout, the decor, absolutely everything). We really enjoyed our private game drive with Lebeko. The only recommendation would be to have a filter coffee machine in the kitchen. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!
Fabulous stay. The house is as depicted on the website and Glen is a very communicative host so you know exactly what you need to do with everything. I've rated the location as a 4/5 purely because you need to leave Mjejane to get into Kruger via either the Crocodile Gate or the Malelane Gate. Originally I was worried that the house didn't have a pool as the temperatures can get very hot, but it really isn't necessary as there is a pool nearby at the Bush Camp that is very accessible. Also, the air cons and ceiling fans work very well. Definitely a home that I would book again. Thank you for a great stay.
The place was great. The silence climbs into your soul. You have everything you need and it is very neat and clean. The warthogs came to "visit" our porch. We walked for miles. Glen is helpful with everything and Lindiwe so friendly and welcoming. This is a must visit.

Sweni Lodge is very beautiful, clean and very well located. Will go back anytime. You are in the bush, hear lions, hippos, elephants every night. Beautiful place.
Had a great weekend with my wife and some friends. The host, Glen, was very helpful and nothing was out of place or lacking.
We loved Sweni Lodge, I would recommend the lodge to anyone who wants to stay in Mjejane and explore Mjejane and the Kruger. It is well decorated. The only critique I can give is perhaps the small bedroom with the 2 single beds, could do with darker curtains.
Sweni Lodge is good value for money, the house is modern, luxurious and extremely well equipped. The surroundings are true wilderness and we had a great time hanging out by the fire and listening to the night sounds of Mjejane (and the Wildlife Park to the north) until late at night. We also used Sweni as a base to explore the Kruger National Park and it worked great - it's an easy 20 min drive from Malelane Gate. Thank you so much Glen for the extremely prompt and friendly assistance, your facility is breathtaking.
Very lovely place that is clean with good beds.
Excellent value for money.
A beautiful house equipped with everything you need. The stoep is ideal for visiting, meals and appreciating the sounds of nature. The reserve's wildlife is peaceful which makes the game drives very special, the wildlife do not mind the vehicles.

Lovely house, we were well received and everything was clean and tidy. Our children 7, 5 and 3 years old also had a great time and enjoyed playing and swimming at the lodge. Very good value for money. Thank you guys.
Stunning, fully equipped house, very tastefully furnished. The house was very clean and neat with everything you need. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.
It was a wonderful experience being able to stay in a new fully equipped lodge and being surrounded by wildlife. Even our teenagers enjoyed the silence and played some board games and my wife appreciated the cleaning services which included laundry. On our last night we were fortunate to able to listen and see elephants grazing just a few meters away while having a braai. Having easy access to the Kruger Park via the low water bridge was unique and allowed us to avoid the queues. Thanks again for making it a memorable vacation.
The children's words were: "Awesome!". It was exactly what we needed. The accommodation is in a quiet private environment and yet two teenagers thoroughly enjoyed everything. We watched wildlife, did a night drive and swam. We didn't want to go home. Have already recommended the accommodation to three families.
For the price I would recommend that a TV is part of the price. Kitchen is very impractical, most of the cupboards and microwave are so high that it can't be reached or used.
