30 guests' feedbackI had such a restful sleep after a long work week. The cottage is meticulously planned and has all one needs for relaxation. The bed linen is of high quality, and there is even an electric blanket! I was well-rested and ready to run my marathon!
Taaibos was the silence, tranquility, not to mention the cleanliness of the cottage! Absolutely the perfect place to charge your batteries. Hostess was beautiful and extremely helpful.
Relaxing and enjoyable. The neat cottage is conveniently located. There was power during load shedding, which meant it was perfect for remote work. Will definitely stay again when needing a space on the Garden Route.
A nature lover's treat with a menagerie of surprises!
We had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed for a comfortable few days' break was in the "cottage". Plus points: electric blanket and gas heater for the freezing July evenings, nice outdoor barbecue and wooden deck between the trees. Fully equipped kitchenette and something we really appreciated is that our privacy was respected the whole time. Thank you very much Annamarie, we will come again!
This is a stunning little open plan cottage tucked away in Wilderness. On arrival, you are met by the host and you park in a communal parking spot. The set-up of the cottage is perfect with a choice of two entertainment areas - one that feels as if you are in a secluded cabin in the forest. It is one of the best appointed cottages I have ever stayed in and definitely great value for money. The profile says Netflix is the electronic entertainment. I was on a business trip and eliminated more conveniently situated properties based on this. I was therefore sorely disappointed to discover that it was only DSTV on offer.
The host is a very warm, friendly and extremely helpful person. Our cottage has absolutely everything (and more) than what one usually gets and is not affected by load shedding. The location is quiet, private and with a beautiful view of the forest-like vegetation in front of the cottage deck. I will definitely stay there again.
It was a very nice experience. We had a great time. All that was not so great is that the key had to be picked up and handed over to the owner. Would prefer to get it in a deposit box.

We had a really nice holiday, wish we could have stayed longer. Annemarie was friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The forest cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. We love Pofmuis!
Taaibos is a very beautiful, tasteful and comfortable place in the forest, with a well-equipped kitchen. Their facilities allowed for load shedding and was no problem. Close to Wilderness and good restaurants. The hostess is very friendly with good service and hospitality. Our dogs had a great time together. Will definitely visit again!
Conveniently located and value for money.
Every moment was worth it. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.
We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the cottage. It is very well appointed in most things. The only drawback is space. If it's bad weather one has to eat inside (on your lap, as there is no table). For us, it was fine as we are seasoned travellers and accustomed to various situations. Would not recommend it for more than a couple (2 people sharing a bed.). The backup power is a bonus during loadshedding. Overall it is a great place to stay and explore the area.
The owner, Annamarie was welcoming and made sure I had all I needed for a relaxing stay. The unit is rustic but filled with quality, classy utensils, crockery, and all you would need for a comfortable stay. The furniture, bedding and finishes in the unit are modern, clean and of good quality. The birds and crickets are the soundtracks to which you relax on the stoep (veranda) and fall asleep at night. There was a glitch with the Wi-Fi, which the owner sorted out ASAP by calling out an IT expert.
Taaibos is private, safe and so convenient! Very well equipped with everything and anything else. We are definitely going to sleep there again.
The amount of effort put in and the hospitality is indescribably fantastic. We stayed so nice and warm through the winter, load shedding and all. Will definitely visit again. Lovely people who welcome you.
Very neat, and fantastically furnished and provision has been made for everything, even load shedding.
If you are looking for a romantic quiet place, Taaibos is your answer. It is equipped with everything and even better, than you have in your home. Even load shedding was no problem because there is a gas stove, gas heater and lamp lights that provide ample light.
Absolutely enjoyed the stay. A very welcoming and thoughtful host. Her place is absolutely breathtaking and the views are magnificent. The frequent visits by monkeys are so cute, and they are not disruptive at all.
This destination never disappoints in terms of hospitality, comfort and location! Truly worth it!

Cosy, stylish. It had everything that we needed to self cater with those extra touches that make it that bit more special. Loved the wildlife and the fireplace was a lifesaver on the cold days. Near enough to Wilderness, but far enough to feel remote. Thanks Raiins for a memorable stay!
