If you like to work back to your childhood, this breathtaking place is just for you! It is full of history, character and makes you feel like the times when you went to visit grandma and grandpa on the farm as children. What an unforgettable experience! And the hospitality is absolutely 5 star! Definitely my number one choice if I stay in that area again!
What a pleasant experience to find ice cold cooldrink in the fridge, full DStv as well as a bunch of DVD's, a lovely soft bed, a bathr and a shower to choose from, and even your own garden where you can braai something with a few tame bunnies to keep you company!
Theresa is the ideal hostess. Thank you very much for the kindness and helpfulness. The "welcome goodies" are fanciful. Accommodation is comfortable and clean. A faucet in the kitchen area would definitely be a plus in my opinion.
Takkraal can be highly recommended. The owners were excellent and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
